My Turkey Meatball Recipe + Eid Try-On Haul! | Aysha Harun

HEY FAM! You asked for more recipes so today I'm sharing my Turkey meatball recipe with you + an Eid try-on haul! recipe is typed below + links to all the dresses are below too!

Meatball Ingredients (I don't know if these are accurate measurements cause I season from the soul y'all! LOL)
1 pound of ground turkey (or chicken/beef)
1/3 of a red onion
4 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup of parsley
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
Dash of cayenne pepper
Dash of oregano
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp ground cumin
1/2 cup Parmesan
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
Splash of milk
*If I were to change anything, I'd probably add a splash of some Worcestershire sauce for a meaty/smokey flavour!*

WOW! THAT GHEE IS EXPENSIVE!! We make Ghee at home and its way cheaper. We make it unsalted, so we take sticks of unsalted butter and put it in a clean pot on the stove and let it melt and boil for a while until all the lactose comes on top and then we scoop out the lactose, the foam stuff that forms on top. Let the liquid in the pot brown and the rest of the solids to sink to the bottom. Then strain it into a container and let it cool. That's ghee!

Ayesha I don’t know how it is in Cali but I live in Virginia, you can basically go to any DMV in your local area. From where I live within a 20 - 30 mile radius there’s about 4 to 5 DMV offices. Some have a bit more heavy traffic than others. So try another office and see what happens

Aysha, just wanted to let you know that you can make your own ghee at home for much cheaper! My mom always makes ghee in bulk and stores it. I really think you should look up how to do it online since its so easy and a lot cheaper :)

The last dress with the belt and the green dress are both gorgeous! Ps ghee is traditional but it's not 'healthy' at all! It's made from cow's milk, it's very high in fat and cholesterol and will add a chunk of calories to your meals without any added nutrition except fat, so I wouldn't recommend using it every time you cook

Aysha, you gotta be measuring stuff. Most of the stuff you said were a quarter of a cup were like half a cup and the stuff you said were half a cup were almost three fourths of a cup. With eating healthy, ya gotta measure. Our eye measurements are often very wrong. But the meatballs look so yum.
