Two Step Process For Entering Trades 1. Play LEVELS. Identify and create levels of interest. Key levels OR Supply & Demand 2. REACT to the market at your levels of interest. Spot buyers and sellers at your levels of interest. Tape reading / related markets / volume / chart / etc Without either of the two coming together, I DO NOT have a valid trading setup. - The market moving up or down is NOT ACCEPTABLE to enter. - What you "think" is going to happen is NOT ACCEPTABLE to enter. - Entering the trade by "guessing" where the market PLAY LEVELS! It's that simple as long as you leave emotions out of it and MANAGE YOUR RISK. Creating and ONLY playing levels gives you: 1. Market context (bullish or bearish above/below) 2. A solid reason NOT to enter 3. A solid reason to enter 4. A valid trading plan (risk, entry , target, etc)

I could totally be missing something here but I want to get a take on something. On the 13th cpi comes out at 8:30. We know that cpi data makes very very very strong moves. usually close to 100 points on the es. I was thinking 5 minutes before the the release I would set a buy at like 20 points away from the current price with a 2 point trailing stop loss and a sell 20 points below the current price with a 2 point trailing stop loss. Assuming the price doesn't just move 20 points because it is very unlikely to... Why would I not? Very open to hearing something that I am not thinking of but wanted to bounce this off you

You’re process is so simple and I love it. It makes so much sense! Find key levels and react to the market. Awesome content

Camino, At 14:04 someone could have gone long at 9 : 45 if they looked at moving candle. Do you wait for the candle to settle, or as it strikes you enter the traded. of course waiting for the candle can be costly also as it can close way far from entry if you waited too long for candle to settle.

Carmine. You can setup hotkeys in your application settings which is found under the Setup tab in the top right hand corner in TOS. This can increase your efficiency. For example; I setup a shortcut to undo chart drawings as Ctrl Z. Much easier than left clicking the drawing and pressing the undo button.

@Dratwa222 жыл бұрын

Just look at past 4 weeks chart. Anything over 30m. We are inside a larger range of balance

I just took a look at the last 4 weeks, not seeing how 4017.25 was determined ...
@michaeltolchard62242 жыл бұрын
Ahhhhh I think I see what you are saying ... looking at the last 20 days we are in a range, high was 4110, low was 3912.5 so midpoint is = 8022.5/2 which gives me 4011.25 and eyeballing it got you to 4017.25. Am I on the right track?

So basically all I’m doing is guessing because I don’t have book map or can look at super fast level 2 data and switch back and forth on different screens. I say this respectfully. I am not being sarcastic. A lot of times I do feel like I’m guessing. I think to myself where is my confirmation to enter the trade? I have confluences but they fail too. At this point I feel like the real game changer is bookmap. All else has failed for me
