For sure, one of the biggest myths in fitness is that us coaches and trainers eat very different from other people. in fact, we really don't have that much more of a different diet than everyone else. What is different is how we use the foods and the portion sizes. Planning on making something of a video on this one.

Man...this totally made me nostalgic for the bachelor days of grocery shopping. Things were simpler. And cheaper. So much cheaper... I’d make what I called Bachelor Mash Food Pile; a big ol’ pot of meat, beans, veggies, maybe potatoes, or whatever was needed to get my macros and calories right. Whether it was that or a decent, normal meal, I’d make up a ton of it and space it out the next week. Knew what I was gonna have so I didn’t have to think about it and it was already done. Eat and go, man. I miss that.

It's just so refreshing to me that you aren't scared of carbs and grains and chips and such. I am SO sick of diets that vilify such things that aren't necessarily bad at all. There's just so much confusion and guilt associated with eating literally anything at all (except for maybe avocado) these days that it's a real service to people that you are showing this VERY NORMAL food that is perfectly fine if you are reasonable and rational about your eating habits.
@RedDeltaProject3 жыл бұрын

Cravings are usually a sign that some sort of appetite isn't being satisfied so that's an opportunity to shore up your diet in some way. If I was craving peanut butter I sure would eat more of it. That natural stuff is very satisfying especially chunky kinds imo

Here in Argentina, we don't have such variety, at least where I live. So, how can it be that many people are overweight? I thinks it's definitely the high carb diet! 😔. In my case, I reduced my carb, alcohol and sugar intake to almost 0.
@RedDeltaProject4 жыл бұрын
An increase in BMI in a general population is usually several factors including cultural habits, working conditions, food resources, and social norms around food. When I lived in Japan, I was quite taken aback by the difference in their fitness culture compared to American Fitness culture. A very high carb diet, not a lot of "exercise" and long working hours, yet most people are pretty lean. It's a fascinating thing to learn how one culture can have a certain diet and be overweight, and another can have the same diet and remain lean.
