To me the most impressive thing about Aldo isn’t his record it’s that he’s STILL competing at a high level. I know he’s not geriatric or anything but he’s got a lot of mileage and he’s still able to get it done against some decent young competition.

I like your list but I disagree with your take about khabib. I think the reason people rate khabib highly is because of the dominance. Like despite his short run he managed to have the most 10-8 rounds in ufc history, broke the single fight takedown record, beat more champs than Aldo and the same number of champs as Silva, and had the 4th longest win streak in UFC history. I understand why you don't consider khabib close to the top but I'm just putting the rationale behind it

@TheDiamondHan khabib retired in the middle of his prime with 3 title defenses barely gave much of a chance for him to be beaten or exposed and most of the fights before then were against cans. Now silva on the other hand was the longest reigning champion in ufc history with one of the most amount of title defenses in ufc history. Your sitting here complaining about his 11 losses when almost all of them were on the back end of his career which khabib never got to. Khabib is the biggest ? In ufc history and will never in my eyes be a top 5 mma goat for that reason. Also a little thing to think about is khabibs coaches along with the rest of the Dagestan fighters have been taking "vitamins" or so they have been told by their coaches. I wouldn't be surprised if they are slipped roids in these "vitamins" as some of them have been popped for it. Not tryna say anything definite just giving u somethn to think on.

I think if we consider the sport constantly evolving and newer guys are more well-rounded than older ones this is a great list. Couture, Penn, Hughes, Henderson, Rua, Ortiz, frank Shamrock, Rutten are all options but many aren't as well rounded as the modern era. Also I assumed you meant just in the UFC, so like Shogun or Wandy's pride stuff not counted here which makes your list even more clean.
