They work great for me. I think it's a great choice. I cleaned out a few over the weekend to put in the new loft, literally took me 5 minutes.

Do you have your boxes screwed to the wall?
@airchamplofts333510 ай бұрын
Yes, once I have stacked them I use one screw per box at the back into the wall.. Its really easy. These boxes can be chained together from the sides or top. There are holes at the bottom and sides of boxes for screwing boxes together so you don't necessarily have to tie them to the wall. I didn't do that. If, for some reason, I want to clean the entire box and not just the tray, I just remove one screw from the back and remove the box, clean it and put it back. that takes less than five minutes and I do it after breeding season, once yearly. if droppings are good, I clean the trays perhaps once every other week or so, unless otherwise necessary, that's very easy too. These boxes are really worth it for me. By the way, the boxes come with wheels too, which I don't use. I place mine on a platform, stacked 4 high, in my loft that leaves about 1 inch at the top so birds can't perch on top of boxes. My celing is 75 inches high and I use a 2x6 platform. Custom made knots and bolts are provided for every situation except screwing into wall. For that I use regular 1-2 inch star head wood/deck screws.
