I love how Blathers recognises that this fish is often called a living fossil, by placing a model of it in the fossil section of the museum in the first room as well as putting it in the aquarium

Not true and I've proven that prior. That's not how it's designed and the game is supposed to save when you click End Session. During the mass end session, someone DC'd, which was how the progress was lost.

Pretty sure soulure is right here, and I believe the reason is that it is a safeguard for if someone vandalises or steals etc, you can end session and revert to previous save state. End session has always worked this way for me. When/where did you disprove this abdallah ?

Omg I was wondering what happened to me the other day! I was trading with this rlly nice lady who let me buy from her Able Sisters. I got some really sweet outfits, had them in my inventory when I left but when I got back to my island, they'd vanished, but I still had the items we initially traded! I was so confused. The fish I struggled with was Tuna and Marlin. Over 80 bait used and 1 Nook Miles ticket. I got 6 Ceoleocanths. Edit: I did get them not too long ago it just took a while

I'm not sure waiting for the autosave even works. I lost 2 hours of work when someone disconnected from my island the other day. DIYs I had bought from resident services were gone and no longer purchased/learned, chopped trees reappeared, stuff I crafted was no longer in my inventory, etc.

Eh the balloon glitch affected way more than 1%. I made no effort to grind balloons, simply listened for the wind. Hit 300 balloons easy. I shouldn’t miss an entire event, I think the limited 12 day event takes priority over a fish you can literally get 12 months of the year. Lol

Here's the thing most of us have lived with communication errors for a long time we're used to it the balloon issue is an actual problem that needs to be fixed because that means some can't get the recipes especially since everyone makes a HUGE deal over cherry blossom recipes internet problem keep in mind we also suffer from due to quarantine so don't just assume it's Nintendos fault for horrible inter net at the time everyone is sucking so much WiFi up it's ridiculous so don't always blame a company for a problem that could be caused by anything else.
