It depends on your major, e.g, computer science people get jobs easily but its easy for another major. There are some job fairs organized by GV in both semester, it also depends on your grades, past work experience and how well you give your interview. If you are asking about what type of companies come here, so mostly Michigan based small companies visit but most of them do offer opt/cpt.

If you don't know it's good or bad, why did you applied. It's really your investment think twice before coming to any university. Earning money in USA is harder than Canada, make wise choice. I never heard before about Saginaw Valley. sorry.

@@samaira5441 good question, so currently I am working with admissions, I’d say mostly freshman classes are at Allendale so you should live on campus in Allendale. In sophomore or junior year you can move to downtown because then your classes will be at Health campus

@@rashmitavaggu4312 university has alot of resources to make you little welcoming in USA, jobs are easily available (on-campus) you can even apply it from India as well, for picking and dropping facility I'd contact to my International Advisor. don't worry there are a lot of girls here, this university is mostly filled with women population, but indian students are very few, less than 100 I bet. For accommodations I prefer on campus because I am in undergraduation, but there are a lot of Indian student living off campus, saving little money, you can contact them through watsap group. I hope this is helpful and answer all of your questions. good luck.

@@chaitram9770 first of all if you’re taking data science in Gvsu keep in mind it’s not stem program anymore. Try to get enrolled in CS or any other technical course. And if you really want to study data science go for better universities.

Hi Garima, If you have a restrict budget I’d say go for off campus. Since I had no one to help me getting off campus I ended up coming to on campus housing. I really like the GV housing. I made so many international friends too.
