Made in abyss is my favorite anime of all time, I've seen a lot of anime but made in abyss just really stuck with me and has been my fav anime for over 2 years now lol and will still continue to be so yeah, just seeing any made in abyss content gets me pretty hyped up

I always loved anime or videogames OST more than actual music, as long as I remember. I started to watch S01 and I immediately fell in love with the musics. Nothing so far made me felt so much things than MIA's OST. Then the film came out, and it was just a whole level above. As for S02's OST, I wasn't hyped by my first listening session There was "too much alien songs" Now I'm listening to I AM BURNING MAN&Reg's interference units on repeat. Kevin Pekin is not a musician but a fucking dark mage

I never really payed attention to OSTs in anything, not just anime, but The Underground river just grabbed me by the soul. I was in awe and got those tingles down my spine. I knew at that point no matter how this series turned out I would watch it for the music alone. I love OSTs now and really notice when they shine. Thank you Kevin Penkin for opening my eyes. I would watch 32 episodes of dog shit drying in the sun just to hear his score.

I remember in my last grade of high school, our math teacher allowed to those of us who chose physic-math direction as their major for National Testing study themselves in the most free way possible, and listening music during solving tests was no exception. We could just sit in front of our teacher and solve math problems while dancing in headphones until the problems became so difficult that we asked for help. One day my friend, who was not a fan of anime, forgot his own headphones, so he asked: "Can I listen your music with one ear", so he could have at least some music to make process less mundane. It was ok for me, but it was literally 1-2 day after I finished first season of "Made in Abyss" and he was not ready for what he was about to hear. After listening 4-5 tracks he took of the headphone and said: "Dude, WHAT IS THAAAT ? That's so sad and depressive! Do you have something else ? Like, more normal ?". I guess I little bit miscalculated when "Pathway" started to play during the trigonometric geometry problem, but his reaction was worth it, not gonna lie XD The only thing that I'm thinking now is how his reaction would be if he listened 2nd season's OST. At that moment I thought nothing could top that OSTs, but then last year 2nd season came in and gave us "Old stories", which is much more haunting and heartbreaking...
