It's really not deep, it's more ... wide. Extremely simple mechanics. There are little math optimizations you can do but it's mostly just about hoping for good golden cookie combinations and waiting for the next big upgrade. Gameplay loop repeats an obscene amount of times. It's a little deeper than you'd think but still extremely simple.

I've been playing this game on and off since I think Prism was the final building? Done a number of full resets, and I've completed the garden from scratch at least twice. I'm doing another run now and oh my gosh I am SO EXCITED to see your perspective. Idk how this video passed me by! KING edit: I had to press the subscribe button to stop the screaming. 56:04 I've gotten this achievement a couple of times. I actually have hand tremors so my hands naturally shake... and I use it to to get this. My strategy is always to hold my mouse with my left hand, then use my natural shakes to hammer the mouse with my right index. It's still really hard to do lol; but it's basically the one instance where this particular disability is useful in my life. 1:06:45 I'm actually kinda thoroughly impressed you didn't hit 1k on the way to where you are. My current casual run is about a month old with 500 septendecillion total and I'm at 200 casts already just forcing the hand of fate. I will say, I never touched Godzamok until this video and I've never really been bothered to learn most of the mechanics. My temple set up is pretty much always Molkasium Diamond, Muridal Ruby, and Cyclius Jade since I usually play at night and hit the 15% bonus. Considering how long I've played this game I'm surprised just how much I learned from this video - also I only just saw my first shiny wrinkler the other day! I feel your pain there. For those asking, it's whatever the cookie is fir the version you're not playing They fo nothing except show up as debug upgrades, and is theoretically only possible by putting web cookies on the permanent upgrade slot snd transferring your save file to the steam version I say theoretically because from my admittedly low amount of research, it seems it's actually not possible to do this snd you still need to cheat but maybe it is possible and i just didn't look too deep into it (spoiler: i absolutely didn't)

Click 7777 Golden Cookies. Shadow Achievements: Harvest a Golden Sugar Lump. Click 27777 Golden Cookies. Have your stock market profits surpass a whole year of CpS ($31,536,000). Ascend with exactly 1 trillion cookies. Manage a cookie legacy for at least a year. There is also 2 Shadow Achievements that are not actually Achievement. They are more like a proof the gameplay is not 100% legit: Cheated cookies taste awful - Seanie does not have this one, it means he didn't cheat. Third-party - Seanie for some reason have this one, it means he used an add-on. He got this achievement somewhere between 59:12 and the end of the video.

@@silferdeath not really. Most of them are levelling up your buildings, and yes, most of your sugar lumps for that are gonna come from waiting. But you can get about a fourth more if you try to get garden seeds and then sacrifice them. So active play is still a big factor, especially with the golden cookie achievement. And it's not even active active play collecting golden cookies. Just put on a show or something and when you hear a click, get the golden cookie. The argument "it just takes time, so they are not that important of achievements" doesn't really hold up that much, considering we are talking about an idle game. A game, primarely played through waiting.

Very nice depiction of what it's like to play that game. I have a save active for years now, casually looking into it from time to time, exporting the save-code and spending the sugarlumps. There is only very few achievements missing for me. I got most, that he has not, but I've not ascended 1000 times yet. Nothing mattered If I ascended, I would still have infinite cookies, but the game would never stop trying to make me lose cookies. I had to fully restart the game to get rid of this infinite cookies. I could get infinite amounts of buildings UNTIL the buildings themselves started to cost infinite cookies, so I could not purchase any more of them.

Honestly, out of all the cookie clicker videos, yours truly show how deep it goes with combos, shadow achievements and even reaching out to the community for help! Mad respect for you to actually "100%" the game in 6 months, it takes insane amount of effort and determination to keep going on, I also kinda got to "the end" only having the cookies baked achievements left, but those are so monotonous... I didn't bother spending time to doing them (even though ive been for years with 3000+ hours and even made a guide for the grimoire!) I really don't enjoy that last part of the game 😭will be waiting for another content drop if i do bother with it, wonder if youlll be making an updated version if that does happen 🤔

@@firefi1960 You are right, 1 million seconds gives you roughly 50/50 odds, a little less even. But you are also wrong, because of how statistics work. It is true on specifically the millionth second and the first second, the odds of seeing the achievement are exactly the same if that 1 millionth second is taken in isolation, but it is different when you are looking at 1 million seconds versus only 1 second. The longer you simulate something with certain odds, the more likely you are to have seen the event that is being simulated as the odds are rolled. Just like you are more likely to roll a 6 on a dice if you continue rolling the dice, and you are very unlucky if you haven't rolled a single 6 after rolling the dice more than 12 times. You'd do a binomial distribution calculation to see your odds of seeing a 6 in a certain number of dice rolls, or in this case, to see your odds of receiving the achievement after a certain amount of seconds.

I’ve been trying to grind the “ascend 1000 times” achievement. Where I am in the game (I think I’m mid game tbh), and without any intense strategizing, it takes 15-20 seconds per ascension.
