Dear Kerstin, thanks for your video, and sharing your creative projects. You do a great service to the KZbin community, not only by sharing your own thoughts but by creating a safe platform for others to voice theirs. I have 2 boys, and so had to spend years interacting with schools, parents, healthcare professionals, etc. I always felt as though I was acting out a role, and loved it when I could be alone, and refind the 'real' me behind the facade. I now still have to play a role at work (for a few more years), but at least my evenings and weekends are my own. It's reassuring to see that so many of us feel the same way. You allow us to express that here, and I'm so grateful for that.

Of course sometimes we might do this to protect ourselves (not giving private details to co-workers for example) and that is OK as well. Hello Ellie and thank you for your kind messages. I agree with you - trees are so special (and so important!) and I also am sad when they are chopped down or fall in a storm. That is really good that you found your way of living (well done for surviving to live in London 🙂). My dresses are a mixture of either dresses I had or found online or a charity shop. This particular one is a second hand one from ebay which was really low in price. I do like NoaNoa dresses, used to really love Laura Ashley ones. But I agree, it isn't easy to find them. Lovely video. This is exactly how i am today. My unsocial life came about in a different way. Working full time, looking after my home, husband, mother with dementia and helping my daughter out with her children. One day i just couldn't get out of bed. I was just so overwhelmed. Then covid happened. I was forced into solitude and i was grateful. My mum was placed into a home catering to dementia patients so i didnt have to worry about her. Now life is simple and i have never been so happy.

Hello Sheila and thank you for your comment. I am in recovery since 2022 after I have been exposed to a difficult situation for a wee while (I am legally not allowed to speak about the details). I shy away from many situations that is prized in the extrovert society. The way I choose to live my life is every bit valid as the extrovert who lives a much more outer directed life. I have a richer interior life....with a small number of close friends...... and very content knowing others share my way of life. If being mindful,...attentive....and appreciative of simple things is a boring life...SIGN ME UP !!!! I prefer it. It is soothing and comforting..and inspires so much creativity. Nature...Mozart....journaling ..morning sunshine.....it is all good !!!! I live in a world where empaths live and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I particularly love the places you visit especially the hidden remains of ancient castles which are always very interesting. I wonder do you find some of them through the National Trust of Scotland? I’m hoping to have another visit to Scotland this year and to visit one or two ancient sites of castles if possible. Again your craft projects are delightful. As a child I used to do potato printing at school. Great fun. Your table runner is lovely. It looked to me like you took time and care with the printing process and it turned out beautifully. Hello Lynda and thank you for another wonderful comment. How exciting that you might come to visit Scotland again! As for castles, there is the National Trust and the HSE (Historic Scotland Environment) who look after many castles, manors and sites. There are castles though (Carnbane from the video being one of them) who are not under their care. I am not sure how many but there is a number that is private and in no trust's care. Those are often fenced off due to the lack of constructional surveying on a regular basis. So I would advise to visit the ones you find on NT and HSE. You won't be disappointed! So you did potato printing as well! It is such a simple yet good thing to do, especially on a budget. Have a wonderful week, I am just working on my next video 🧚🌸💜

Congratulations on 10000 followers🥳 That table runner turned out fantastic. I've never seen that craft with potatoes before. The end result reminds me of Laura Ashley designs. I too am quite a loner. I'm also a HS. I find being around too much noise or people exhausting. I'm far happier and healthier living quietly and gently on the earth. I feel more peaceful alone with my pets.
