Thank you for sharing. I do NOT have a schedule, the strokes left me with a 'swiss cheese brain' so my goal is 2 hours in God's word per day, some days my brain is working at 5am, other days I can't read at all and have to just listen to it on Bible Gateway, but it is rare that I miss that goal.

Hi Cat, Beautiful Bibles and bag. I spend time on God's word very early in the morning, around 4AM TO 4:30 am, when it is quiet and no distractions. As a morning person, I don't mind getting up early. Thank you for sharing.

Wow what a beautiful video .. Just found a ESV bible very interesting along with a mini bible take along we learned to use different translations as well. A NIV mapping Bible is really nice to change it up Christian books is great for bible's and devotional book's . We Golden Gals are making 2023 time to have Bible study and read more and apply it to our life.. What is nice you don't have to any type of religion to do this and it's ok to write, highlight and add stickers ,etc. Not to leave the bible on the shelf till Sunday service. Thanks for showing how it can be !.just take time out to work on it. Many blessings to you.

Hi Cat, you know that there are so many ways to read and study the bible. I like your idea of the flags, and to continue on, but I also like to stop and look things up, depending on the situation. I like to study a book or a theme, so the extra things that catch my attention often have to be included in my reading time. I really love how you show folks your ways of doing study etc. Thanks for posting!

I'm keeping you in my prayers sister I know this season has to be difficult for you but try to keep your chin up. And keep in mind you won't always be in that bed. GOD is only giving you a little cat nap to get stronger not only physically but also spiritual. So take this advantage you have and grow stronger in His word. 🔍✍📖🙏💕

My "warbinder" is the larger size. However, a smaller one would be easier to take anywhere, so I guess there could be two "warbinders" in my collection, one for home, one for travel. I have two "cuddle bibles" but the Treveris seems to be the one I go to the most. Your ideas are the best for Bible study and prayers. 😇🥰

You definitely named what I'm doing wrong . I watch Christian KZbinrs and don't spend enough time in my Bible. I am battling fear, too. I have agoraphobia and social phobia . I pray our Lord richly blesses you. I praise the Lord that your son is home and well!

Enjoyed seeing your set up for 2023 Cat. Chuck Missler used to say, keep a notebook for questions as you read the bible, and the more you read it, you will find the answers as you go. I love that so much! I love the flag idea too as you can take them with quite easily. I love that you always start with the word of God and that alone. That is the best way to start our days. I don't personally use any devotional books myself, but like how you use them. Once we come to faith in Jesus the Holy Spirit coming to dwell in us, gives us this hunger for the things of God, and of course God's word. But like you mentioned it's easy for us to shut him down by saying "oh I need to do this or that instead of my time in God's word." Satan is so happy when we get distracted. The less time in God's word the worse off we are, that's for sure. This year I am using Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum's Footsteps of the Messiah and Yeshua life of the Messiah as well as some of his other materials for my study time. I started last year using his materials and wow learning the Jewish context of scripture and the jewish idioms has really deepened my spiritual growth and biblical understanding. Thanks so much for always encouraging us to be in God's word! God bless you! And big pets to all the kitties!

Our journeys are so similar. I am currently reading THE MESSAGE bible as my daily reader in the morning when I first get up and at night before bed. Late morning (after finishing some chores), I pull out my workhorse which is my SHE READS TRUTH bible for my own private study time. I have been using this bible as a workhorse since October 2021 and it is crammed with writing in the margins, arrows, highlighting, and sticky notes. It ain't pretty, but it is well-loved! In the evenings I work on my church bible study and BSF study. For those studies I use my Grace & Truth Study bible. I love this bible - it may be my favorite (but that is always subject to change :D ). I will sometimes refer to my ESV or John MacArthur study bibles should I need additional clarification. After those two studies, I will close out with THE MESSAGE bible before bed. About once a week, I try to work on my own 'transform' study. Like you, I have another bible I've devoted to that, along with devotionals, commentaries, bible dictionary, my TCR bible and any other books that relate to my same topics as you (fear, doubt, anxiety). I have a separate bible tote for these materials, along with a notebook and pens. Your mother must be so proud of you, Cat! I love your commitment to study, scripture and encouraging others in their own love of scripture. If you were my daughter, I would be so proud of the lovely woman you are - strong in faith, in love and devotion to your family, and a loving heart toward animals. Always enjoy your videos.

Idk I've never added it up or paid attention. I just know my momma was right. "God's Word will literally feed your soul!" So you will actually hunger for it🖤💜🖤💜🖤

Thank you for answering🤗 I have the Canterbury. It’s beautiful but I’m liking the single column better too. Ever since you reviewed the Illustrated Catholic Bible I knew I needed that one!😊 it’s not exactly a cuddle Bible but it has been my main go-to for a little over a year now! I like to add notes from Dake, and others in it. I appreciate your faithfulness to Our Father and in encouraging everyone all the time!🤗🥰
