it’s normal to have tangles after shampoo. A lot are drying so it’ll make tangles. Most curly hair tangled up constantly though as well😭 trim would help but i wouldn’t say it’s the root of your probs. If it seems to tangle towards the ends then yeah a trim would be the solution

I never understood why people didn’t like their natural curly hair, my mom is pushing 40; and she doesn’t like her curls, like at all. She hates them. My mom is the same way..my mom is 54 and just doesn’t like wearing her curls all she wears is wigs & weaves and no matter how much I tell her her curls are beautiful and she should wear them out she just doesn’t, she doesn’t like them..I wish she would see but I don’t think she ever will 🙁 she’s so used to straight her and I think she doesn’t see her confidence in them like a lot of people..they’re so used to thinking straight hair is the only beautiful hair..very sad

i know this is a late ass reply lmfao but it also depends on what kind of haircut you have ! i have 3a/3b curls and i absolutely lovedddd yas’ volume and shape and i wanted it so bad so i did a bit of researching and found that she has a certain curly cut that makes her hair voluminous. after cutting my hair the same way she has it, it made my hair very voluminous like hers. if you look at old pics of her when she was a preteen her hair was flat but once she got her curly haircut her hair became big a fluffy. just a little tip! 😽
