When I saw that UD bright eye pallet it gave me an idea for a video 'make up you'll never see me wearing tutorial' basically each youtuber puts together a GRWM style vid and they do a look that is the complete opposite to their normal style? I think it would be great to see how different it makes our fav gurus look... Anyone else agree? Like dress ups (for adults lol)

You actually have a really nice amount of makeup. Like you have a lot yes, but considering your job, you have a normal amount. It's good because the amount of makeup you have you can actually use and get through so its not wasteful. Love your storage too! I've had some requests to film one of these on my channel, but I have no idea how to store mine haha, so thanks for the inspiration! x

Your makeup collection video had to be one of my favorites. You do have a lot but it wasn't an excessive amount of stuff. It seemed the be the perfect amount for a makeup lover and blogger. I recently bought a Muji drawer for my makeup and two of the ones for my glasses and I'm already in loooove.

I love the tip about tying the black and brown eyeliners together! Will be doing that once I find one of the 300 rubber bands I once had! Btw, I don't know if you've heard, but apparently storing cream eyeshadows upside down make them last longer.

Genuine question: If there is an entire collection of makeup you keep for blogging purposes, and you admit that it's not makeup you wear, then why should I (or anyone else) trust you when you make a recommendation for one of those products on your blog or in a video? You don't wear it/them. I understand blogging is your self-proclaimed job and you're sent a lot of products, but why should I (as a consumer) trust your word (as the "expert" blogger) about them? Am I just misunderstanding what it is you're trying to say? (Again, this is a genuine question, I'm not trying to "attack" anyone).

i think she means that she doesn't use those products because they don't suit her (like her eye color, skin tone, skin type) or even if they do the ones she uses everyday tend to enhance her features better! so when she recommends a product but doesn't use it it's probably because she realises it is good, but in the end it just doesn't work for her natural colors, skin, exct,,,,

I think a lot of it's just to do with skin tone and type, I noticed that a lot of the foundations Lily had were for a range of skin types so I'm guessing she keeps things that she thinks would work for the different skin types for blogging but only uses the ones suit her skin type day to day. Also I think she had quite a lot of high street dupes for high end products and if I was here I'd much rather use the high end version but keep the dupe in case I decided to a post on budget make up.

I've had a beauty blog for several years and do the same thing as Lily where I keep certain makeup that I don't necessarily wear regularly. For me it's because people (readers/ consumers) are alway asking how does one product compare to another so I'll keep them for comparison sake. For example I don't wear MAC Myth lipstick but I'll use it to compare against other nudes since it's a great reference. Also I've found that sometimes I fall in and out of love with products throughout the year! Maybe she does the same?

You could try moving your foundations, primers, and tinted moisturizer into the lower drawers. Since the lower drawers are taller you can store them standing up. 😊

Only tip I could give you would be to not light a candle so close to your fragrances. I'm such a fragrance hoarder and the heat isn't great for them.

I've found that it's best to store cream eyeshadow/gel eyeliner pots upside down (or on its side at least) to keep it from drying out quickly. I remember hearing someone say it, and I thought it might help! :) Loved this video, I wish I had a label maker too! :)

Love the tour Lily! I found that when I store my liquid eyeliners flat, it doesn't dry them as fast as storing them standing up.
