I wanna try the bronner bro’s foam, found it at Sally’s and it was super cheap! I use the Obia custard for twist outs n braid outs. I’ll have to try it as a base for wash n gos. Out of all the things you have influenced me to try, my favorite has been the Kazmaleje Paddle Comb. LIFE CHANGING. There would have to be a tool that detangles my hair for me, styles my hair for me, and does my taxes for me in order for me to replace it.

Not many surprise on your list which is an excellent list of course, I too got hooked on the Obia custard as a matter of fact in my hair right now. I was a Kinky Curly girl well still am a little bit, then CRN/ UFD were next in line, I just couldn’t deal with all the stickiness that can come with many botanical gels, think water was my downfall, anyways after watching your video and What the Kink, I was hooked and it is vegan too, a game changer for me. I found the PM the conditioner on sale at a Kroger here in Houston and I purchased everyone that was there, sure did, so am good on that for a minute. Thanks for sharing, stay safe!

Thank you for sharing! I love the Melanin twisting cream and I had been curious about the Camille Rose Almond Jai twisting butter! I tried the Algae Renew DC this week and fell in love and was curious about other products in the line. Since the butters are the same I will continue to buy the Melanin! More product for the same price! 😊

Hi! I started using all things Camille Rose after watching one of your videos. I have thick, coarse 4c hair. I recently washed and conditioned with the blue bottle Joico line...I think its their moisture line. Then I deep conditioned with Camille Rose’s algae something...the bottle has a purple strip and then I did the LCO...I think, LOL!...which was the moisture milk, the almond jai butter and then their oil/cocoa growth serum. I put it on my scalp too, per the directions, bc I washed my hair twice and let and dry twice and so detangling was “fun” and I lost quite a bit of hair so I am just hopeful these products will do some good. I two strand twisted as always and will take these down in about 4-6 weeks and repeat the process with these same products. I love Whitney’s line and I will go back to hers after I finish the CR products. I love how knowledgeable you are about products. I do appreciate a “talk” versus a demonstration on the products on your own hair. Happy Holidays to you and your family and thank you for sharing all that you know!

Great video! I finally purchased the OBIA cream and custard last week after seeing you use it a few times. Whoa! The combo of the cream leave in and custard together was magic. The definition and hold! And best of all, not sticky like kinky curly curling custard. Best twist out ever....and I really want to try this as a wash and go because of the curl pattern I got while working the products in. TFS!

The thing that stops me from trying the Obia Custard is the Glycerin factor. . Products with Glycerin tend to give me frizz rather than defined styles with any Hold..... If only I could be sure that this is different.

I love these types of lists every year! My staples have somewhat upgraded from last year, I’m loving the Adwoa line for keeping my hair healthy without much thought. I just shampoo, condition with heat, detangle and leave in then twist. One or two days later, I dampen my hair with the As I Am castor oil water and moisturize/ style with the double butter cream which gives great moisture until the next wash day. Thanks for sharing!
