Game changers: 1.oyin hair dew. I have some new leave ins to try but it's currently the only one I use at all. The hydration is unmatched. 2. kinky kurly custard, camille rose style setter, and now giovanni gel based on you and bri recommendation. Those the only 3 stylers out of many that get my curks in formation. 3. Using a diffuser. It helps dry things faster, I can't wait to get to a place where I can afford to buy a hooded dryer 4. Paying attention to ingredients and switching to 98% black owned brands. I know people on a budget and non-black products work too, but something about using black owned I know is helping my hair. Plus, I discovered this wonderful world looking at products made by us, for us and looking at the companes as a whole. I've also cut down on unnecessary spending by being much more selective in what I put on my to try list. 5. Making the process of doing my hair something I look forward to doing. Having that be tedious has caused me to neglect my hair over the years. Making the process enjoyable by listening to things I like while I'm doing it has helped immensely. 6. Clarifying every week. Itchiness has always been a problem for me and I was afraid of clarifying listening to other people. When I saw evanni talk about how she threw that out the window and clarify all the time, I realized I should do what works for me. Trying that out has improved my scalp health so much.

My hooded dryer is a must. I feel like it sets my curl because it is being dried. A total game changer for me was the Mane Choice Heavenly Halo Pre-poo. I never used anything for a pre-poo except an occasional hot oil treatment. After using the heavenly halo pre-poo, my shedding during wash day was cut in half. The hair balls that I used to put on the shower wall no longer exists. This is a must in my wash day routine.

I ordered that paddle brush because of your review of it. I absolutely love it. I don't have as much hair coming out during my wash days or when I detangle. This is the truth: I like to see people hair advice but finding out YOUR hair is what is going to be your individual game changer. I think this is what the natural community is missing. All our hair is not going to look the same because our hair is different. I have been natural since 2000; and I know what my hair loves and what it doesn’t.....saves you TONS of money. The natural hair community is taking all people money because some naturals think their hair is going to look like their favorite natural hair person when it is NOT.

My game changers: 1) prepooing 2) hooded steamer 3) Uncle Funky’s Daughter Curly Magic (I didn’t think I could ever achieve a good wash and go until I tried this gel 4)Mo Knows Hair Curl Restoring Treatment ( I like this better than the Quidad conditioner that inspired Mo’s treatment 5) My hooded dryer for drying wash and goes. 6) The Felicia Leatherwood detangling brush (all other detangling tools I tried before this one were fails. 7) Doing wash and goes in the shower on soaking wet hair (particularly with gels like UFD and Kinky Curly 8) The brand Camille Rose Naturals - my hair loves 90% of this brand’s products. I love the natural ingredients. This brand taught me that ingredients do matter.

My game changers are: 1. Detangling my hair before shampooing. 2. Giovanni Smooth as Silk Shampoo (cleansing, smoothing, defining and strengthening and reduced my scalp build-up) 3. Oyin Gingermint Co-wash - I can have a quick wash day by just using this and following up with moisturizing my hair. 4. Moisture- Protein balanced deep conditioners. I often need a little of both each week. 5. Film-forming humectants. Look up Afope Atoyebi. Literally changed the game I can have lasting moisture for 5+ days. 6. Sealing with silicone serums.

Kareco Tangle Buster convinced me a tool didn't have to rip my hair out. As for products that changed my hair life, it actually really boils down to ingredients! Ingredients that changed my hair life: BTMS, Hydrolized Proteins (especially Silk and Keratin), Aloe Vera Juice, and moringa. These ingredients made me realize that it matters and I should pay more or go through the pain of DIY so I can make sure my hair has what it needs/likes.

I freaking love that Kazmaleje paddle comb!!!! You are right much less hair loss. Build quality is amazing. A forever brush. Game Changer!!! 💙💙💙Well I thought I had a popping wash and go until I tried Ecoslay’s Jello-Shot. Bae Bae, them curls said, “Hello Sis”. Game changer!!! 💗🤍🖤 Naturall Clubs Thist Quenching Avocado Moisturizer. This penetrates so well into my low porosity strands it’s a miracle. Hasn’t flaked on me and works well with products other than their line. Game changer!!! 💚🤍💚Last one, Camielle Rose lavender Shaken Hair Spritzer. The best refresher I have ever used. Spray, Shake, Go. It softens but does not effect my curl pattern or hold. Game Changer!!! 💜💜💜

Well I am always here for the game changing products, I am all in for CRN, pretty much all her products works quite well on my hair, then in high high upper second, is Oyin, that hair dew, yes total game changer every Black Friday or when my liter runs out I will purchase another one, it keeps my hair moisturized when I put in braid/twist, Qhemet butter is another one I like. I am going to finally get me a standing dryer, I know using my steamer is another game changer for my hair, this I feel will be just as great especially when the weather change and I can no longer go outside with a wet head from my wash n style. I tried to get the paddle brush however heir website says sold out, I will keep an eye for it, especially for my daughters very very high density thick stand hair. As always thanks for sharing your game changing products and tools!

My game changer product that I no longer use was the Shea moisture jbco leave in conditioner. Once it came out it was my one and done wash n go staple for years. Shea moisture’s Shea butter and Jbco lines were everything to me. Now I wouldn’t touch them with a 10ft pole. 😆 A paddle brush was another game changer along with the Anthony Dickey method. Black girl curls’ and hydrabar salon’s recommendations are the latest game changers.

I really enjoyed the mane choice shampoo even the Camille rose ginger shampoo. I have to say the Halo one from Mane choice is just so hydrating. Buying the hooded dryer was the best investment I've made for my hair. I don't care to wash my hair at night anymore. My newer game changers are definitely using a rinse out conditioner before shampooing, oil rinsing and sitting under the hooded dryer for 15 min after putting a leave-in before going on with gel...my wash & go's are at a higher level now

I always wondered why hair dew was never was a staple in your stash but is frequently mentioned, glad to know it was a game changer for you...For the brush, they should emboss the logo by way of carving it in the back of the paddle, its wearing off. I need to try it more but I think that this brush is so stiff that it rips through the hair. I love that its black owned though so will keep and see how it can work for me. TFS!
