@@myuhninhnin the email should’ve specify who to contact. You have to act swiftly because it expires after a certain amount of days. It wouldn’t hurt to go to the job location as well.

If you accept the first position and then get fingerprinting. And then accept another position; it tells you to cancel the first accepted position. It will cancel out the first accepted job and you will have to get fingerprinting again.

Yes, I found out that if you accept a position then you have to cancel the other. However, I only had to get my fingerprints done one time so far

When I switched it wouldn’t allow me to accept the new position until I declined the other one. I can’t remember the exact tab but try job opportunities then click on my applications. It may be there

Keep re-applying happened to me as well. I kept re-applying and BOOM 💥 finally received notification for orientation & training. Also, you might want to consider a post office that needs more CCA’s.

I was fingerprinted after THANKSGIVING for a different position in the post office......NO ORIENTATION EMAIL 3 months later. There is literally no one to contact. When emailing one person she said you stay on the hire list for 60 DAYS then have to reapply. The post office is the most disorganized place ive ever worked. Thats why they tell you do NOT quit your job. Also my office was 2 cities away. 25 min drive. After working all day and getting off at 9 sometimes 10 PM. You 🗣 WANT TO BE CLOSE TO HOME! Trust me, trust me, TRUST me. 25 min was still a far haul for me with kids. Best of luck to you. I think Covid has stuff taking even longer

Hi, thank you for the video. My experience has been trying to get hired for holidays while also applying for full time jobs there. I’ve done my finger prints after the interview, and a week later an email consenting to a driving background. A week after that email wanting work history, references, etc. Today I accepted the job offer via email and now I wait for the next step. Lol

First Applied for CCA , Houston texas 10/09/2020 Did MVR check 11/16/2020 Conditional job offer 12/15/2020 Fingerprints 12/16/2020 NACI background check 12/17/2020 ...quiet till late February got email someone is filled in. I re applied again 04/23/2021 Another MVR check again 06/02/2021 Got Cond. job offer 06/03/2021 and NACI background same day Then I guess I wait for Re-do fingerprints schedule...pray for me to get foot in! I just interviewed for a truck driving job as postal support employee. I applied xmas time got a 92 on the assessment. They offered me the job and fingerprinted me same day. I think the job I'm up for is urgent.. try not to overthink stuff . Make a decision and roll with it.

Hey, not sure how they do it in New Jersey but here in Florida if you receive multiple offers from different locations and you have already accepted one... essentially if you accept another it would push your hiring process by like a week or two but the change of location can be done.

And if you chose a different location then yes that will change.

Depending on the position, but for me applying for PSE position, they are supposed to email you offering you the job. You either accept or decline, then they send you email saying you have to get fingerprinted and then fill out the NACI background check with 5 years of detailed info of past addresses and jobs. I’m at this stage now, I applied August 1st and on the 18th got the offer email and then fingerprints same day and background on the computer. The man there said I have to wait for the manager to call to have a sit down interview explaining the job, and when the background clears I’ll get my orientation date. It could be weeks or months at this point he said, I’m still waiting too, hope this helps.

I got an email about getting my fingerprints done at a location with the dates and times. They will set the appointment up for you. Beforehand I was wondering the same thing. So I emailed the person that was on the offer letter to contact about the fingerprints. I'm not sure if my email to him did anything but the very next morning I got the appointment email. So I assume they will contact you.

Give it some time. They may respond within a few weeks. I think being a veteran is a plus because they may accept you over everyone else. I’m not sure if that’s correct but I heard veterans have more of an upper hand than regular civilians

Definitely was freaking out a bit about the fingerprinting because the email it said to schedule my appointment wasn't answering me so i called so many people and finally got through to one that was the district manager usps for here in LV Nevada so i scheduled my fingerprinting appointment with him. It may just be the order of which your location is going. When I applied I got a background check and then the exam right after. Try and keep track of all the emails because they can easily be missed. Check your spam accounts as well. I think sometimes the order of the process can be a little mixed up. I say give it some time. They may be contacting you soon. However, everywhere is different. It may take a little bit but if it takes too long reach out to someone on the email they sent you. I didn’t hear anything for about 2-3 weeks after my fingerprints as well

Hi .. I just came across your video.. and I have a question.. so I applied for the post office had to do the motor vehicle background I pass that.. then I got an accepted email and then I received another email saying to accept or decline .. agent that email I received another for the background. The. I received another email about fingerprints and orientation. So my question is is the assessment test or exam after that?

I've heard that sometimes if you don't hear anything it could be that the jobs were already filled. However, it could just be a long process before they reach out to you. Hang in there. Try to keep checking for other job positions they post as well. It's sort of like first come first served. So if several people applied for the same position as you they may have only contacted a certain amount back. The grade of your assessment matters as well. Keep applying and have patience because it can be a loooong process when applying for post office. 😊

I’m not really sure how it goes. I think they ask for anything within 5-7 years. Honestly, I think you still have a chance. Nothing wrong with trying because you never know. I think they’re looking for things like license suspension, DUI’s reckless driving...but again I’m not sure. Hopefully they’ll contact you. I remember someone in my orientation saying they had a ticket for a red light and they still got through.

It’s different in different states because I stay in Georgia & I received my naci email the same day as my offer letter & I did my fingerprinting 2 days after my offer letter

I don't think there is a dress code for fingerprinting. I just tried to dress appropriately. I wore black jeans if that helps

Thank you. I did end up switching to the closest location. However, I haven’t heard anything about the next step as of yet. I’m a little worried. Some told me that it could take a while. I did email the rep on the fingerprint email and she advised me that it could take a few weeks to hear something. That was last week so I’m trying to be patient but I’M SO READY! 😂 Congratulations on starting your new job. Please keep me posted on your progress!
