Wonderfull collection, I still have a few Panasonic I also was big fan of the machines, i started with the NV-F70, then NV-FS90, NV-FS100, NV-FS200 and the last one I got was the NV-HS1000 Edit Station (which I still have along with the FS200) but before that my fist recorder was the Sony Betamax C5 (I was just a kid at the time) then I jumped to VHS with the F70, my parents at the time has some Philips I want to say Jet drive and a few Mitsubishi that also made some nice HiFi VHS decks at the time. Not actually tried my machine in about 15 years so not sure if they still work. The best memory I have is when my NV-F70 received its first NICAM stereo transmissions. Its was awesome having stereo sound for the first time, we had a TV and my VCR that could do NICAM and I would stay up for the BBC test transmissions with a pair of headphones to hear stereo tests.

Philips VR 1000s are VERY hard to find, I have been looking for one for over 2 years and they just strait up don't come up for sale very often. Were these ever sold here in the US?
@Halterung013 жыл бұрын
Nope, the VR1000 is a PAL machine. US uses NTSC. As the VR1000 a rebadge of the JVC HR-S9500, you might be able to find a VR1000-equivalent JVC machine
