Gerardo Argueta I don’t eat beans or grains raw so, I’m good. Soaking then cooking them like most ppl do reduces phyt acid by 80%. Sometimes I sprout them if time allows. Also I grind my pumpkin seeds which reduces p.a as well. This is one of the oldest myths about V food, it’s still knocking about? Looks like you’re wrong

Well done,I work on the rigs,on and offshore,out of an average of 100 people on a rig , I am the only plant based / vegan person (5 yrs now) on the rig..always! Unreal watching what they all eat and then question my food, and the bs I have to listen to . @@joecornelius5377 it's usually in response to my asking at a food establishment if they have any vegan options and they say "we have gluten-free" as if that's relevant because they don't know what vegan means. It's just frustrating because it happens so often... and the more I travel on the East Coast especially the more it happens. No God forbidding just prediction that it will still continue and be a sign of the need for increasing awareness

@@VeganLinked This happens to me constantly. I happen to be gluten intolerant these days (too much whole GMO wheat over the years?) but how these are related just makes me nuts, regularly. People, even restaurant owners, often use these interchangeably. Maybe wheat and barley should grow faces to save theirs.

YES! I've been gluten free for 6 years and have chosen to eat plants for the last 2+. Vegan can contain wheat and Gluten free can contain animal products. Two entirely different beasts. Abstaining from both, however, has been awesome.

Obviously the climate changes naturally. What idiot is arguing against this? But we are very clearly accelerating it exponentially. How is that even up for debate still 🙃 If it was made up by the government to get the MASSES to do what they want, the MASSES would believe it, for a start, but instead the masses are ignoring it, so they don't have to face the guilt of what what we are doing to animals the earth or each other. Hey Mic, Iranian fan here! Unfortunately Hummus is not mainstream in Iran (contrary to popular Western belief), as not all middle eastern foods are eaten all over the middle east. Hummus is more popular in the Levant and countries west of Iran. We do have it here but it's really hard to find, not so popular, and not even really good. Vegans here usually make it at home. But anyway if you get drafted to come here, rest assured we have some amazing local vegan meals, pastry shops, restaurants, fresh produce, and cheap organic everything. ;)

I’m a new vegan and love this way of eating their is so much variations of food it’s crazy good The biggest change was my depression I had for over 30 years Just disappeared the 2nd is that I tore 5 discs in my lower back suffering from chronic arthritis And inflammation, those problems are a thing of the past and my love for all animals has grown. One of the main drivers in the change in the food industry are food conglomerates. The head of Tyson was quoted as saying, (loosely here) 'if we could provide food without using animals, why wouldn't we?' They will. 150 of the most powerful food producers wrote a letter to Walmart (exactly why Walmart?..) saying there needs to be a transition from animal products to plant based products.

Great video. as an aside, I was born in the 60's and I am NOT a boomer, lol (1969 Gen) - I work at an organic grocery store that has more vegan options than anywhere else near me, and the protesters that come in make me embarrassed to be vegan... they scare people away from veganism - I've had customers tell me they considered going vegetarian but that those people turned them off the idea.. bummer, also they make the little kids cry and gave some of my co-workers major headaches from trying to yell over their megaphones to help customers. Part of why I'm vegan is humanitarianism. I care about people and I don't agree with being aggressive like that. They're not going to shut down our store or harm our sales and what they're doing is literally backfiring based on the feedback I get from customers. Anyhow, that's all I've got. Keep up the good work.

Cool you I like the clear and not misleading title. I recommend you add words like prediction, claims, horoscope, believe and wild guessing to all of your future videos as well. That would take a lot heat from the carnivore comments off

(Think that's how he spells it) I have a lot of friends I'm in sense coaching to go plant based and they keep bringing him up. I have watched a few of his "ex vegan" videos and they are truly sad. I don't even know where to start. Drinking animal blood, eating raw meat? It's just so sad this guy has any credibility at all...😢😢😢

Hey Mic! Appreciate these vids! I have a request, and sorry in advance if you've already covered this and I didn't see it, but, could you cover something about 'clean' meat? I though it meant 'free range beef' or s.th like that, but then I looked up and it had to do with lab meat. Maybe re: the myths around happy cows and chickens could be included, too? Thanks!
