With getting kids ready for college and vacation coming up, I’m a bit behind in watching but so happy to catch up a bit and see this one! I tried my hand in gardening years ago and this inspires me to start again. I have two new brand new Earth Boxes just ready to be used. It is probably too late this year but I will plan it for next year. I would start the seeds indoors but I don’t have great lighting and I think my cats would like digging the plants out too much! Buddy and the cucumbers, so funny!

Starting your own seeds or buying plants, growing veggies is such a rewarding hobby. I am always amaze at how a tiny seed can grow to be bountiful! You don't need much light to start seeds and can be kept out of the cats' reach pretty easy via creative hiding places. Next year!! Buddy is scared of everything including his own shadow. Haha. Such a gentle boy.

Thank you. The rain barrels are saving us on our water bills and rain water is so much better for our plants. I love making these simple videos that are reflective of authentic life and not filming for KZbin. I am sincerely glad you enjoy my videos. I don't go for view count & I have fun putting them together for those that truly appreciate. 🥰

Your plants look great! I’ve already got squash bugs and cucumber beetles, and my tomatoes stopped flowering and the green tomatoes stopped developing. How do you control bugs?

I add an organic compost solution when watering my plants. The link is in the description of the video. Please check it out. Follow the directions on bottle. I believe when the plant is healthy, it is most resistant to diseases and bugs. I definitely get a lot more flowering since using this product. Easy to use too. Other than this solution, I don't use anything else. Thank you for your question.
