My Vera Bradley Disney Classics on the Green & Classics Swirl Haul (Belatedly & By Viewers Request)

Way after the fact, due to multiple recent viewer requests, here’s my #verabradley Disney Classics on the Green and Classics Swirl haul, finally! Listen to me ramble on about characters from the classic #disney animated movies Snow White, Bambi, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, and Alice in Wonderland.

I loved this detailed look at the two patterns. Excellent video Alisa. I sent back a lot of my Disney 100 but I may have to repurchase the Vera tote after watching this. It’s just too gorgeous.

Thanks so much, Liz. I returned some of it before I did the video. Stuff like the big rip stop family tote and I can’t remember what else lol. I probably overbought but I didn’t want to be looking all over kingdom come some day trying to find stuff on resale sites like with cat’s meow-that really traumatized me lol

Nobody wanted the lost boys on their Disney bags! Lol! It was a big clump with no flow. But I love the rest. I got it in a Glenna and a tote, and a few small pieces. I loveDisney , and this print makes me happy. Thanks for doing this review. So sorry about the loss of your puppy. We lost a dog we had for 20 years, and I would cry every time I saw a dog that looked like her. It takes time , But now we have finally have gotten a new puppy to warm our hearts.

You are so correct in saying to slow down and look at these types of patterns. I looked again at my totepack in Disney classic and I noticed that the green vine made a classic script C here & there in the pattern. With my name being Carol, I find that fun! Although probably not intentional by the pattern designer. But it made me happy! Really enjoyed your video too!

I happen to like and am fascinated by the Peter Pan story, and I think Disney does a weird disservice to it by marketing it as “Never grow up,” when the Disney animated classic itself culminates in Wendy learning the value of growing up and maturing: She accepts her mortality and goes back to live in the real world, whereas Peter Pan remains king of the lost boys in Neverland (a place that doesn’t exist), unable to take on the responsibility of forming a real life/relationship and has to settle for Tinker Bell (not a real/fulfilling relationship). In my eyes it’s a story about how we all must grow up, take on meaningful responsibility and accept our mortality without becoming a tyrant like Captain Hook (who is terrified of death) or Peter Pan (who refuses to grow up)… both seemingly two sides of the same coin!

I agree, VB should release the original pattern again, it's so beautiful ❣️ Loved to see the comparison with the Disney version ❣️ I have a couple of pieces of this Disney pattern. Love flowers and love Alice in Wonderland, so this was a no brainer ! I found pieces with Alice and her friends in focus on the front. Your videos make me go back and study my own bags more... 👍🤗

I can’t decide if the owl is “Owl” from Winnie the Pooh or “Friend Owl” from Bambi. The coloring is more Friend Owl.

I just switched in my tote pack in this pattern. It’s one of my favorites patterns Vera has done with Disney in a while. I ended up walking into my Dillard’s having already gotten the cosmetic bag, wallet, and tote pack only and wasn’t going to get anything else. But the small tote had such great pattern placement and I couldn’t leave it behind. It had Bambi on the front pocket. And Thumper is my favorite. Then on the back The White Rabbit is centered. I also couldn’t pass up the zip id.
