So, it sucks...air.

It sucks and it blows air, depending on which side you attach the attachments. So it can suck out the air out of a vacuum bag, like a vacuum cleaner, or it can blow up a pool mattress. Maybe just not a regular air mattress, since that requires a bit more air pressure.
