I’ve been having so much pressure from my parents constantly asking me if this was really what I wanted to do with my life (with all the best intentions of course) but it really made me question myself. Especially because of the constant reminders over the last few months of all the terrible things that could befall me… but I’m glad I found this channel because it truly made me remember why I wanted to become a general sergeant in the first place. Outside of just having a stabler life in the future, this channel really shows all the hardships but also all the satisfactions that come with this job. How nice it must feel to let a patient walk off knowing that you helped improve their life in someway, and provided them with support that only you could give them as a doctor with all the knowledge you worked hard to remember and utilise. I’ll continue to work hard to reach my dreams, even if they’re still very far away

This was VERY comforting 😭😭 I am also a medical student in Turkey. Medschool here comprises 3 years of preclinicals followed by 2 years of clinical training and 1 internship year. I am a month and a half away from finishing my 4th year, and it really wasn't easy to adjust to the clinical setting. I always felt like I am behind compared to my classmates, but seeing that little clip of how you also spend time and effort to present patient briefings gave me an indescribable type of comfort. Seeing the hardwork you put in made me realize that I too, did put in the effort and still am. I used to be so mad at her when I was younger cause she'd barely be home and even when she would, she'll be dead tired. It's been a year and I always watch your videos when I lose motivation to study. and every time i watch your videos i realize that i'm not the only one who goes through this, everyone else goes through it, and it made me think to keep the spirit and move forward to achieve the future that I want. As a six year medical student every time I see your videos I feel like I'm watching a medical drama it's so inspiring and dreamy yet it makes me sad that we don't get the same chance to learn nor to work in similar conditions (which are impossible to reach) ... I hope that things will get better in the future for all human beings

Something's that inspire me is how your always upfront with reality . For me , not seeing the inevitable future I don't know the consequences of my irresponsible way of living and when I see you , the voice "to change" really hits me hard and I'm thankful for every sip of inspiration that you give me unni Dia. I'm from Colombia, and this remember me my last year, we used to be at the hospital at 6am, specially at GS, we also had 66 hours weekly and the most part of the day we were alone with the residents formulating treatments, exams and images; although, the best year of those 7 years.
