My very first time in Kalulushi town...Zambia.

Refreshing to come to a town like Kalulushi a very laid back life.

Thanks for the nice video. I’m glad that it’s not dirty & it’s a pity that you didn’t have time to go on the other side where the mine club & big yards are located. Yes, the town centre has not developed much but the town used to be a beautiful green town & it’s still a good town. I’ve some family members on both sides of the town & my wife was born in the district hospital there.

That's my home town, and that's President Avenue where council offices are. That building used to be ZCCM offices and when the mines were privatised, the building was handed over to the council. I use to take walks along that road. My family is still there. Yes, Kalulushi is still a beautiful town.

I visited Kalulushi and spent some time there about 7 years ago. Friendly people, lovely town. In answer to your question, "Where did the mining wealth go?"...the UK, the US, and China. Colonialism, both old and new, is truly awful.
