It’s tough to find British KZbinrs with a decent grasp of horror, nostalgia and the issues the UK had during the 80s. Accidentally stumbled across your channel the other day and I’m enjoying your content immensely. I’m working on a video nasty project myself to put out on my channel. Hi Nigel, "Cannibal Holocaust" i remember was a video cover that was high on the shelves away from the main desk at my local independent video store but as curious young teens it was one that we kept looking at, & probably a film i wouldn"t want to revisit again if i"m honest, " The Driller Killer" was quite gory for its day & i forget that Abel Ferrara directed a very underrated gangster movie "King of New York" starring Christopher Walken . "House on straw hill" & "Faces of death" movies i"m not familiar with, "Fight for your life" is one that i never got around to watching which i know you"ve recommended to us on a recent stream, i might have to track down a copy. Informative video Sir 👍

Thank you for the very kind words Carlos. Yeah I definitely think you, Dan and Jeff would all really like Fight For Your Life, absolutely cracking film mate. I did see King Of New York once year's ago and I remember absolutely loving it - yet I never bought it. I'm always in the look out for the Arrow 4K WITH slipcover but I've not been lucky yet but Pete said it's really easy to get hold of 🤷

CF made quite an impression on my old friend, Daemon and myself upon our initial VHS viewing back around '85 or '86. The gore was just off the scale for us both and even then the dialogue had us creased with laughter: Mobster 1: "Just stay put, shit face!" Mobster 2: "Where is that motherfucker?!"😂

Loving these videos mate. I've made it a mission to see all the films we weren't allowed to see in the 80s (lol so ridiculous) seen many of them as I was lucky enough to know a bloke who had loads of pirate vhs back in the day lol.

Another absolutely incredible video Nigel. Loved it mate. The cannibalism films are definitely the hardest films to watch for me. Very tough watches, but I love the soundtracks too them, and I respect them as well. The driller killer was better than I was expecting, and it was actually quite gory. The effects were great as well. Couldn’t stand the atrocious music though.😳🤮🤣 awesome stuff Nigel. Really looking forward to part 3.👍

Cheers Gary mate, totally understandable mate, it's really, really unpleasant and difficult to watch and to stomach. Glad you're enjoying the vids though mate, Part 3 might land between Christmas and New Year 👍

Same here. When I first saw Holocaust back in the 80s. My mates and me watched this dodgy bootleg and were convinced it was all real. As did so many other people.

My thoughts: Cannibal Ferox: Certainly Nasty. I thought it was pretty decent. Cannibal Holocaust: The Nastiest Nasty? This is a tough watch, but one of my favorites of the Nasties. Brilliant film, but the animal cruelty is nasty stuff. The turtle scene almost made me turn the movie off. The Cannibal Man: Other then the cow scene, this really doesn't belong on the list. A very good movie. Devil Hunter: One of the worst on the list. May be worth a look just to see how bad it is, but unless you're a Nasties completionist, skip it. Don't Go in the Woods: See Devil Hunter and repeat. Awful, awful movie. But I did get a chuckle and the end when the main characters are stabbing the "wildman" with sticks, you can see the sticks bouncing of the actors "body armor" or whatever protective device he was wearing to not actually get hurt. The Driller Killer: The Poster Child of the Nasties! It was pretty decent. But as you said, the music band is horrid! Evilspeak: I liked it. It's a slow build, but the last 20 minutes is batshit insane! Expose: I liked it. Other then that one scene, it shouldn't have been on the list. Faces of Death: It's crap. Fight for your Life: Sadly, still considered banned. Which is a shame, because it's really good. Not an easy watch as Sanderson and his crew are real POS racists. One of the best on the list.
