7 hours after you posted this. I'm the eighth thumbs up and the first comment. I enjoy these radio dramas. I find that comedy is less satisfying. I think it's because I listen to these postings when I'm alone. Comedy needs company. Thanks for making these available.

Lovely surprise to stumble across this gem and hear a familiar voice from the past. Appleby played by my Uncle Fraser Carr (Kerr). Not his usual Glasgow Scottish character accent!

I loved the play but I can hear every modern detective groaning when they listen to Mr Plod traipsing all over the evidence, without a Scenes of Crime never even mentioned. Those were the days!!!!! Dec 2024.
