I scored two interesting Daisy bb guns a few years back. One is an anniversary model 25 from 1986 that was made in the old school style: metal trigger, no safety, and a model 95 with no sights made for point shooting training. I think it was made in the 60s and it has the same non-ratcheting knuckle buster cocking lever as your old Red Ryder. Lots of fun.

I won the P15 a couple of years ago, so I am not going to enter this contest, (hence no numbers listed). However, I did want to say thanks for doing this. It is kind of you! I recently moved from a city to the country. My 8 year old daughter and I are having a blast with her pink daisy BB gun when the weather allows. You are so right about getting kids started this way into shooting sports. I hope every winner gets kids shooting with them. I am buying an adult Red Rider to shoot alongside her. It's so fun!

Good to hear from you. I hope you and your family love the country. I am in a great location in the township but at the end of the street with a woods area in back of me. So I can shoot every day all day. You are lucky to have a daughter who like to shoot. Best of luck

It is so fun shooting bb guns that little Marlin Cowboy from Crosman is pretty rare they were only on the market for a short while then they brought them back out as the Sheridan Cowboy. Your newer Red Ryder parts are made in China too they were assembling them and packaging in the U.S same with Daisy's model 25 those are made in China but there decent little guns too.

If you can screw the magazine out your gun is at least 44 years old because the newer guns load BB from a plastic door on the side of the barrel. Best of luck.

I bought an adult stock for my Red Ryder but never used it because it wouldn't fit in the nice sheepskin lined M1 carbine bag I keep it in. That got me thinking and I did a side-by-side comparison with an M1 carbine and the original RR is nearly exactly the same size. I'm only 5'7" and if the M1 was good enough for WW2 and Korea, then the original stock RR should be good enough for my backyard 😁

Will you do a review on the Red Rider adult model vs the regular model . Adult made in China and regular Red Rider made in the US. Length and material, price difference. Your opinion is very helpful. 79 yr old that went from an M14 USMC back to a Red rider I think non-adult model to match my childhood used treasured rifle as a kid. Good presentation.

my first experience with BB gun was the harvesting of s small winged creature that left me so sad that I didn't use it again for awhile yet the seed to hunt had been sown in fertile ground. Later I started using a Benjamin pump in .22 cal.and I later developed into a avid user and competitive powder burner user. Much later I watched you on youtube out of curiosity and started wanting to try PCP style pesting to protect my small livestock from misc. vermin. So thank you for your content that changed my aresenal again!

Boy you shot competitively. I tried to shoot my PCs competitively but it took so too much discipline and dedication that I soon gave up on it. However, I am happy to have played a part in your journey to PCPs. Best of luck.

5,6 Aaron, you brought back so many memories I’m going to tell you I have my kids when they turn six and eight and I got them a red rider and that little one a buck and I had a commemorative red Ryder and you wanna know something we had shooting contests, and when those kids got out of school that was the first thing they wanted to do shooting I had to go buy balloons put water in it. We shot them up and hung them all over the place and made believe we’re hunting , they just loved it but the reason I am entering this contest I’m going to tell you sad thing, but I got some homeless people living in an RV in the back of my yard and they got some kids and they’re all crammed in and the reason I put them in there is so that the kids can go to school they are American the need an address.Not gonna comment on the politics of this, but I was thinking man I can divert some attention from this situation and let them have some fun knocking over some soda cans used to hang by the pull tabs and set them all up and watch them swing and I also can go buy some more balloons and put some water in it And I bet you those kids will forget about their problems that they have and they’ll be out there shooting I don’t know I think I’m doing the right thing. There are five of them and I got three BB guns left over from I was playing with my kids, so would you like to we all could have a BB gun and we could teach them and shoot tin cans again And I bet you they’ll have good memories but my good memories with my children and you should see gonna tell little secret you’re a little win a couple times and how happy they were when they could beat dad that jumping up and down and the safety aspect, and taking away the fear yeah, that was worth it to so thank you for the memories. They all came rushing back when you were putting up your BB gun specials and thank you for all that you do. God bless you.
@aaroncantrell88192 жыл бұрын
Glad to see that you started your shooting young. I love the idea of the water balloons. Seeing them explode must be really exciting to them. I will try that with kids.
