I’ve enjoyed watching this earrings collection, Alice! I think it’s so cool that some of the clip on earrings you have are inherited. I have pierced ears, but I think clip on earrings are so cute and easy to put on and take off. You have a very lovely collection. I think my favorites are the first pair, pearls, and the angel pair! Clip on earrings were the norm until the 80s, when Claire’s brought ear piercing to everyone ‘s local mall…. Until then , certainly until the late 70s, pierced ears were almost consider an oppression of sorts…. Like the pain involved to look ‘beautiful’ was a problem. I mean, with piercing you are literally running a hole they a body part. Having just gotten a shorter haircut, I have gotten back into clip on earrings and am building my collection slowly . Thanks for the vid!
