Erica, I hit pause when you said that you need both hands to pull out the drawers on Monty's dresser. Here's the solution: Take the drawers out, turn them upside down, get an old candle and rub the wax on the bottom of the drawers where they make contact with the dresser drawer frame. Then, replace the drawers. Now, be careful when you pull out the drawers because they will come flying out, so I'd try it a few times before you fill them up again. If it doesn't work the first time, use more wax and make sure it covers the area of the drawer slides. (Sorry, I don't know the proper names for dresser parts.) Best of luck dear. Now I'm going to watch the rest of Monty's wonderful space. Back again! I adore Monty's bedroom. You've made a wonderful space for him to grow in. Brava, Erica!

The room is darling Erica! It reminds me of Christopher Robin mixed with the Lost Boys. I think it is charming, everything is intentional and meaningful, and I LOVE that you kept the dresser white. The white reminds me of the nursery from Mary Poppins.

What a charming nursery! I have a little tip to help the antique drawers slide a little easier. Take the drawers out and using a dry bar of soap, rub the soap along the bottom edges of each drawer. Replace the drawers and they should move a little easier:)

My step-dad used to restore vintage furniture, and also teach how to do it at TAFE. Grab a white candle, and run it on the bottom runners of each drawer. It will help it to slide more easily.

Absolutely LOVE Monty’s room it’s perfect. Some people may think you need to have Teddy bears and kiddie things all over just because it’s a babies nursery you are decorating but you really don’t. Monty’s room is made with love…and that’s all that really matters! ♥️ 🇬🇧

I love your style and it's definitely a unique nursery. I feel like it is a little depressing for a child's room, with all the dead insects and the skull, it kinda feels like a musty museum vibe. :) But that's the beauty of decorating your home, it's so personal and it doesn't matter what me or anyone else on the internet thinks about it, as long as you are happy.
