I agree. It's a stunning dress and can be dressed down with a thick leather belt cinching the waist (also would help as it's a little big) and even by having the sleeves taken out. It would also definitely benefit from being ironed. It's the star of the show. A stunning dress.

The orange nightgown/dress is so cute! I was sad you didn't get the set at 9:25. It was AMAZING! Gave me Gucci vibes and the pipping was everything. I would have died if I found that. I feel like my thrift stores are getting harder and harder to find amazing things in.

So much fun watching you thrift with Sarah...my favorite of her finds is the short kilt...made for her! The "old Erica" is back...love the blue and black window-pane knit top with the black cropped pants and the slung-over purse. Also the black and white herringbone coat with the graphic tee and converse sneakers. And the 49ers sweatshirt...so you! The plaid blouse under the denim overalls and the adorable nightgown worn as a dress...also very you! And that date-night red dress...beautiful!

No! I can't believe you're leaving behind the FABULOUS rusty/orange duster. The color, the fit, the style is so YOU! And it would've matched your sunnies! Oh, well.....I love every other thing you got and they all fit you perfectly. The puffed-sleeve long dress we would've called "an ugly bridesmaid dress" a few years ago, but today, it is really beautiful...those sleeves are a work of art. Great video again!

I like when you invite friends to thrift with you, it turns into girl play dress up in the store. Yeah I can see why you might be concern with minis at the time that you have to do a lot of bending and squatting with a little one but do not walk into the light with what others think are proper. I am 59 and I will still wear my short hem at upper thigh. I really like the styling of the pieces you brought home. We are in the double digits temps also but not ready for Fall temp wise because it can get pretty cold here during that season (even snow). Yeah yeah I like the fashion and layering and boots but not raking up thousand of leaves. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

Honestly I am super unimpressed with the thrifts near me, so in my opinion, everything you picked up was a steal. I loved all the pieces, but still not convinced that the 80s dress can be modernized.
