anyone know why tcg cards are more expensive than ocg? isnt yugioh from japan? and not only that, but im pretty sure the sets are even older in ocg. the way i see it, japanese cards should be more expensive than tcg maybe i should just start collecting ocg

Yeah those parallel rare barrel dragons are very rare surprised you had a hard time finding a reverse. Those pop up a lot

Is there a premium value for English cards in Japan? Are Japanese people interested in them and what % premium are they willing to pay? I remember like 10-15 years ago they would go crazy and pay premium on english cards. Not sure now.

Japanese people do NOT care about english cards for the most part. MAYBE some ultimate rares (especially retail) can be interesting but if you plan on selling in a shop you wont get a premium price nor would I advise you to bring your TCG cards to Japan because shops dont pay well.
