I create mine using Canva. Then I go old school and have Walgreens print it out on poster board and create a spiral notebook with the board as the outer cover.

I've never made a vision board. However, I find this very interesting, I understand how it works. Pictures generate thoughts, thoughts are vibrations, vibrations travel outward and have effect. Pictures lack specificity and lets The Universe provide - if, when, and how is best. Pictures/suggestions on a board are opposite of what I once did. I concentrated hard, creating a situation for myself, which turned out to be totally wrong for me. It would have been much better had I gently suggested and let The Universe provide in it's own time, and in it's own way. Pictures of what's wanted seems like a much better method of bringing about what one desires. With time The Universe managed to correct the situation I forced. I like the idea of a vision board. I'll be keeping that in mind. Now, I need to get back to your video and finish watching. Here in Puerto Rico we've been having electrical outages all day, 3 hours, 15 minutes, and just now 2 more hours. It's not even 3 o'clock in the afternoon and who knows what's next. This is thought to be a political statement to the incoming government, from the current company running our electrical supply facilities. Goes back to lack of maintenance on an outdated crumbling infrastructure. That, combined with theft of budgeted funds, much like the Russian oligarchs and how they amassed millions, while depriving citizens of rightful services. Oh well. Wishing you Allison, Elder Gal, and everyone everywhere a safe celebration bringing in the New Year. May 2025 be a very good year for all. May peace and humanity soon become the law of all lands over all peoples. 🧡💛🧡💛🧡

It's been decades since I created a vision board. The last one I did was for my first and only home purchase. I had pictures of each room, paint and fabric samples, ideas for artwork and phrases that described the look and feel I wanted. It manifested itself in 1994 and I owned that house for 20 years. Now I think it's time to do another vision board for 2025 and beyond to remind myself what I want to prioritize, and the life I want to lead as I turn 65 this year.

I made a vision board several years ago. Some of the things I put on it were absurd, so I stuck it in the back of my closet. Several years later, we decided to move and I came across that board. Every single thing on it had come to me. So I think your original intent must matter a lot.

I am doing this tonight. Some things need to change for me. It hit me yesterday and today. I thought about some people in my life who were becoming too demanding and zap my energy. How can I change this? I thought about some needs I procrastinate. I thought about new dreams. What would make me happier? What makes me happiest? I used pretty stickers and inspirational quotes. I met a lady going through cancer treatments and she put hers in a mints tin box. I forget what those mints are called. She carries it with her and then she can open it and stand it up for display. Genius idea!

I caught your rant on a neighbor who smokes. Imagine u bought a house in a senior community where they are all too close next to each other. And I have an 89 year old next door neighbor who smokes so much I can't even walk into his house it wreaks with nicotine. His old plastic vertical windows shades are stained yellow from the nicotine and smoke. Well, he smokes so much after dinner and opens his back patio door. And the smokel comes through the cheap walls in this house and chokes me in my own kitchen.

Hi EG! Greetings and a happy New Year from the UK. Funnily enough, when I woke up this morning, I thought about vision boards. I am working on manifestation through my meditative practice. My apartment is very small, so I don't have space for a super large vision board, but I like the idea mentioned by a respondent below of having a folder or ring binder with the visuals in it. I like your vision board! Great idea…always wanted to try one…maybe this year……..some years ago I wanted to bring about personal and emotional change…some years ago I took a white piece of paper turned it longways wrote my name in the middle, just first name, regular handwriting size….scattered around it I wrote words that describe me….rule is you can only write positive things…..then when I found I had lots of room left on the paper…I wrote down phrases of what I’d like to be…..such things as financial genius….own my own home…etc…so that gave me goals and direction to work toward. Did I become ‘financial genus’…well not unless you consider being able to budget like crazy and save and invest wisely ( all skills I learned since writing that out)…. It did really help……also because the exercise was focused only on positive things about myself it helped me be more positive about me and my life.

Happy New Year! I read somewhere that vision boards work by stimulating the brain's Reticular Activating System (RAS) to notice opportunities aligned with your goals and by reinforcing positive visualization, which builds confidence and reduces fear. I have a degree in visual impairment (how to teach the blind), so I found that an interesting thought about vision boards because the visually impaired do not get to see by example, etc. You are an interesting lady. I cannot wait for your travels to begin!!

Oh THANK YOU SO MUCH for Reminding Me of this Manifestation Technique. I used a Vision Board to manifest a Vintage Mercedes-Benz,; meet Famous People ; and Travel to International Locations for Years. While I haven't done a VBoard in years, YOU have rinspired me to VBoard 2025. In my Journey, One Thing I learned was to be Crystal Clear on the Exact Outcome/Result I wanted to Receive. Otherwise, I found that my VBoarded. Items appeared but were. not always as Wonderful as I had hoped. Case in Point: I wanted to meet one of the Featured Speakers in the Book THE SECRET. His Picture was on my VBoard. Sure enough, We met at one of his lectures but he was Less than Charming and brushed me off to speak to someone else. ❤😊❤ HAPPY NEW YEAR ALLISON AND EVERYONE IN YOUR KZbin FAMILY.

You have given me an idea. I have developed Anxiety/some form of PTSD from something that happened in February 2001, and it has made things difficult for me to travel. Before 2001, I traveled and lived in places like Japan, Holland and visit/lived in many States. So, I am going to try a vision board/book or maybe with index cards, of places I want to visit and see if that will help me. In 2022, I did traveled from Montana to San Diego and back on the Amtrak train, by myself. I did have a quiet Anxiety exposed on my way back to Montana on the train. What helped, was a small visual picture book, and it helped me relaxes and calm down. I hope, thanks to you, that creating a vision board, can help me to visit my 88 year old mother who lives in Puerto Rico. When my Anxiety creeps up, I stiffen up/ freeze, and I can’t talk or open my eyes for hours. I don’t, scream,cry or jump. The only thing I do is hold my meditation bracelet, and repeat 7 names quietly in my head. I can’t wait to get started on this Vision creation ☺️🤞🏽 HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thank you for this inspiration! I am going to do a vision board for this year and put it right on the wall by my bed so I will wake up to those messages every morning. I did vision boards for years in my community college "Life Strategies" Friday class and the students reeeeally got so much out of the experience. I haven't done up a vision board maybe since the seventies. I think Oprah promoted the idea on one of her shows from years ago, or at least that sounds like something she'd feature. These days, I value the tranquility and predictability of my homebody existence, and am not planning for or expecting too much.

Ive done "vision boards " in the past when i was much, much younger. We weren't vey creative i think as we just called them collages. It just had suff that we liked. Animals, scenic places, what we wished we looked like....so. I like the intent of your board..

Sounds like a remake of New Year's resolutions. If you want to make changes in your life how about starting now? If you plan for a future date chances are you won't do anything. You'll always find some excuse to do it later.

Hey, Allison. I have to confess. Never before heard of a vision board. Probably a guy thing. Very sorry about that. Wish I had one a long time ago. Coulda, shoulda, woulda done this and that. Don't wanna live life with another regret. Coulda, shoulda, woulda made another choice. But it's too late, there's a knock at the door. Coulda, shoulda, woulda won't change a thing. The here and now is waiting.... More poetry from some of my mentors. Perhaps I will make my first vision board one of these days. Thank you for the suggestion. Actually Amazon also sells clip art books designed for vision boards. Just discovered these. Of course they do cost about $10-20. Thanks for your comment!

You can usually find old magazines through libraries, even some used bookstores or thrift stores.
