Here’s another really great classic cover song from my music collection. Teddy Grable, a super talent, has an extensive career in which he has recorded many great songs, honoring his early roots and showing his love and appreciation for this great music that we all love.
Teddy hails from Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York. He sang lead for The Stardrifts (Goldisc Records) (his 1st group), The Concords (Epic Records), The Planets (Roulette Records), a group “Child” in 1968 releasing a 45 and LP (Jubilee) and The Third World (RCA).
Later, over the years, he has formed and recorded with The Rock-A-Tones, The Raindrops, The Guys, Street Hearts and even had The Angels back him!
In 2013 he released a CD compilation of over 55 years of his music “Doowop Memories featuring Teddy Grable” (Crystal Ball #1133). His more recent music can be found on Reverbnation where you can check out a lot of his great cover songs. www.reverbnati...

Great cover..cover..awesome falsetto lead..didn't know this one at all. As an aside, I had the Child lp when it came out, specifically for my curiosity as to how they, and other groups (Three Dog Night, Vanilla Fudge, Group Therapy, etc.), sounded like they had their roots in vocal group harmony. Thks
