I don't like this video, Kenshiro is kinda tricky for me since he's far from my favorite Fist of the North Star character so I don't really know what to say about him. I should be doing a review on the Raoh from this line which will hopefully be better since he's one of my favorite characters ever. Although it might end up like the Overlord video where I'm just so excited to talk about him that the video's pacing suffers. I guess we'll see. Next review should be the Snail Shell Saori and Shikura that won that Snail Shell poll unless something else's recordings get done first. I have like 4 scripts that are just ready to go and no footage.

I do it fairly rarely and I'm pretty sure I explain my perspective when I do. Like idk man, sometimes a video just doesn't go as well as I'd hope. Also to be fair while I was working on this video, I hated it so I think ending up just not liking it is an improvement.

Pretty cool. Fun fact: The Sega Master System game "Black Belt" was this series. The game is a modification of the Japanese Mark III title, Hokuto no Ken[a], based on the manga series of the same name, which is known as Fist of the North Star outside Japan. The export version of the game was released without this license, forcing alterations to character names and graphics. It is one of the earliest works of programmer Yuji Naka prior to his involvement in Sonic the Hedgehog. First released in Japan in July 1986, Black Belt was localized for North America, Europe, and Brazil. Japan also saw a Wii Virtual Console re-release and a PlayStation 2 remake as part of the Sega Ages line. While commonly compared to Irem's Kung-Fu Master in both visuals and mechanics, Black Belt received mixed reactions from critics with some consensus on its boss fights being a positive highlight and its levels being too repetitive. . Raoh is too evil, Toki has hyper-canceraids, and Kenshiro is a soft pussy (this is literally the first scene of the show where he's still a softy). Jagi asks Raoh if that makes him the succesor and he said yes. So *legally* using a shotgun a secret Hokuto Shinken technique.

Wait, that's real leather? No, if it's real you can polish and take care of it, it will last much longer than faux leather which will require no maintain, but inevitably will break.

The Sheep skin leather on this figure and Raoh > Faux leather for sure, and this is from general experience, it is far easier to treat and take care of real leather than faux leather Hottoys and other companys generally use, those crack pretty easily.

Anything that'll make it less likely to break honestly. And yeah I've seen the Swarovski Kenshiro. Wonder if they'll do it to the Musou Tensei version so you get to see the gems in all of his scars.

I wouldn't be too excited for the new anime, we know literally nothing about it and I for one am skeptical af. Definitely check out the manga though, if you've gotten up to volume I think 14ish or chapter 136 you can just stop there as that's the end of the main story for Fist of the North Star. The rest is kinda just filler.

My only complaints for this figure would be the use of leather as well as the somewhat baggy look the vest gives him. Truth be told I kinda wish the clothes were either sculpted or tailored with a thinner material. Also, no ATATATATA face? Unforgivable.

I don't mind the baggy look, makes it look authentic. But a sculpted look would be better for sure. Hopefully they'll do a smaller scale version with more than one head option and no damned leather.
