Kudos for the video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you considered - Delsooh Socializing Victory (just google it)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for making over seven hundred dollars per week helping businesses with their social media accounts minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my work buddy after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.

Sis, I have looked at this video several times trying to embrace doing wash and go's. At the age of 59, when you say it's important for us to embrace our natural texture, your words hit me in my gut! I know you are right, and The Most High YAH is calling for His daughters (so-called Black women) to stop wearing fake stuff and sexy clothing. Our hair's natural texture is not a twist out, so I am going to truly focus on learning my hair in a wash and go and not "do the most" before I go! Thanks, baby Sis! Love the way your wash and go looks! You did that!

Gorgeous! And I agree with your view of a wash n go. I used to do the most but got tired of it taking forever and a day just for some definition that takes away from my volume. Now I keep it simple. Thanks for the video and product recommendations!

I love that you didin't slather ridiculous amounts of product on your hair and you didn't twirl each strand. I love doing wash and gos, but I'm hesitant to watch other type 4's on youtube because they do the most trying to get their hair to look like its type 3. I completely agree that I think every natural (in particular type 4) should at some point wear a wash and go, so they can truly embrace their texture.

I've never been a wash in go type of person. I felt like it made my type 4 (A, B, C) hair to knotty and dry looking. Until recently I've found that doing a clay wash or vinegar rinse, followed up by mane choices 3-1 leave in conditioner, then Camille rose naturals almond jai twisting butter (yes for wash in go, it works great), followed up with the mane choice 24k twisting gel. Results are hydrated, bouncy, defined and shiny hair. I've also tried this with a twist and curl, results were fantastic!

Beautiful! I just recently did a wash n go after probably 6 months or more of twist outs. It shrunk up like no other but I also did some banding at night to stretch it some. I have never done twist outs. I went natural by big chop. However i grew my hair long and decided I wanted to be bald and shaved it completely. I feel like it's grown back a different texture or maybe actually completely healthy. No heat damage. No coloring. But regardless im working so hard to love and accept me. I feel like i look so ugly and so much like a man with my hair loose in an afro or wash and go. Maybe the shorter length too. I already feel not so pretty and everyone always said i looked better with straight hair. More exotic more Hispanic like my dad. Idk i just am going through things i didnt go through being natural the first time. It's hard. I want to embrace this texture and just how i look period.

I know this video is old but I really wanted to comment For the longest when I first went natural I never did wash and gos. I think it might have been because 1 I loved the way my hair came out when I did twist outs and 2 I was comparing my hair to all these other people’s hair that I saw do wash and gos and thought it wouldn’t be as nice. Now wash and gos are my go to when I don’t know what to do to my hair and when I don’t feel like waiting for my twists or braids to dry for take down.
