I loved watching this gentle wander through all your various palettes, and hearing how or why you put them together. So interesting. I love the deep, deep light palettes, but also the regular everyday palette too. Thanks for letting us take screen shots- it's like looking at a candy selection❤

OMG, now I found someone else who does this! Maybe I feel a little less embarrassed. My grandfather was a Master Dyer for a textile company. I blamed him for my obsession with colours! I absolutely love the colours you have chosen. I have a lot of 'moody muted' colours also, but I like the Cyart metallic paints aswell. Thanks.

I love the Deep Deep Light colors after seeing yours, so I ordered both of your sets. They have been shipped and I am so excited to get them. I wish I had paid attention that there was a discount code. There was a delay in shipping so I contacted the ladies and they went out of their way to get right back to me, to check with their couriers and to tell me what they found at 12:15 am their time. Another wondeful gift of a video,I love tge beautiful antique box you keep all your watercolor palettes in,and a bonus of a mini slie show of yoour stunning artworks. Your generosity is aamzing allowing us to take screen shots of your swatch cards. It's so great that your plattes inspire you to paint each time you open them,it shows that your gift for colours and aplettes means these are right. Great to hear why you chose the colours and what you use each palette for and how it helps yoy evolve your artwork. So fitting that you are an ambassador for deep deeplight paints. (matt) P.s I am thankful to you that I made the choice a while ago to anly use handmade watercolours,one of the best choices I have made as an artist and for my work,so thank you for that inspiration. Glad to hear you've really settled into using your sketchbooks which will also help you evolve your artworks too.I love the Kremer palette,it's so unique.

Hi Natasha, lovely video. Oh my goodness so many lovely colour’s. I have a few handmade watercolours that I have been purchasing, I have a few Essee palette’s which I love so much I am so into warm/dark colours I prefer them so much more than bright colours this has changed since I saw the colours you use. I have the Senopia palette from A Gallo and I absolutely love them. I seem to be using the handmade paints more than the usual brands at the moment. I am definitely going to get some Deep deep light watercolours as soon as I am able too, they look amazing. I love the stickers you have on your palettes, the birds are just so lovely. Hope you are keeping well. Lots of love xxx🥰

I really loved this video, excellent sound and cinematography 🙌 The palettes are gorgeous too! Such mouthwatering colours! 😋🎨 The Deep Deep Light might be my favourite, because it contains the Natasha’s Grey and Starry Night colours that they created for you. The Peg & Awl case is a thing of beauty too, I love the chunkiness of the leather, it looks such good quality. On a personal note, I’m very glad that I put the extra effort in on sanding and staining the floor in your studio, as it makes an excellent background for your videos! 😁😘 xxx

@NatashaNewtonArt
@NatashaNewtonArt 2 күн бұрын
Thank you! A 'mixing palette' means colours chosen specifically for mixing with others on the palette to create a wide range of colours without carrying all of those colours separately. A simple mixing palette would contain two yellows (one cool, one warm), two blues (one cool, one warm), and two reds (one cool, one warm), but they can vary. I hope that makes sense!
