My hopeful 2023 champion is Ryan Blaney. I believe he is a very good driver. He's is very consistent and has amazing talent and skill behind the wheel. He just had some unlucky breaks in 2022. I have a feeling he'll win 3-4 races this year.

I think Suarez is vastly underrated. Throughout the second half of last year, it seemed like he had more speed than Chastain but he just had a combination of a bad pit crew and just bad luck. Honestly I think he is more likely to get two wins than miss the playoffs altogether.

I wouldn't sleep on Byron. Last year, he was third in the field for laps led, he just wasn't able to finish off some of the races. I still think he's a solid pick for the Playoffs. He almost made the Championship 4 if it wasn't for the bad qualifying position and Hamlin's stage points at Martinsville. He's also been consistently making the playoffs every year since 2019. I think he has a good chance at making hte Championship 4 if not winning the Championship. Other than Byron almost missing the cut, most of your picks are mostly the same as mine. On a different note, this is one of my favorite videos of each year, and I like the fact that there are about 24 different drivers that have potential to make the playoffs.

Honestly anyone outside of the Live Fast & RWR cars has a chance of making the playoffs with the win & your in system. You can make a case for pracitcally every driver to win at a certain track & even the Spire cars have a shot to be in the right place at the right time at the Superspeedways, how many times do we look up at the end of one of those races & see Lajoie around the top 5

There’s 16 strong contenders there- and as you listed, probably another half dozen strong contenders who could all potentially make it as well. Justin Haley- he now has a full season under his belt in the 31, they had momentum at the end of the season, and now he’s got a full time teammate to actually work along side and AJ I think will bring a lot to the 16 and 31. Gibbs & Gragson - they were both great last year in Xfinity but didn’t do too much in their cup starts. I think Gibbs us a car that could win so he could surprise us, I don’t know about Gragson in the 42 but we’ll see. Speaking of… Erik Jones - damn I want to see him win the early Darlington race and make the playoffs. They were fast early in the season too but had some problems. Michael McDowell - I mean, who doesn’t want to see him have a further breakout year? Austin Cindric - he’s in a Penske car, and he’s a good road racer and seemed good on the SS. Could totally win some. Buescher & Keselowskj - RFK was looking better at the end of the year and Buescher even won- they could both possibly pick up a win and make the playoffs. Suarez - he had a lot of great results on and off the road courses, Suarez couldn’t definitely make it again! Aric Almirola - he wins a race every coulple years. Austin Dillon - I mean- shit happens.

Everyone keeps talking about the 24 team as being inconsistent last year, which isn't true. They almost always had top 5/10 speed, but the pit crew was absolutely abhorrent every single race, and the later in the race it was the more likely that they would screw up.

I think AJ Allmendinger is going to turn a lot of heads this year. Every road course of course he will be a top pick, but he’s really become good on mile and a half’s too. He ran 18 races last year with an average finish better than many other playoff drivers- but his first 5 races were awful last year which, on a shorter schedule, really hurt that average. His latter 13 races he had 8 top10s and 3 top5s. In those 13 races his Average finish was 10.8

I just don't see Reddick getting a win next year I think his move from RCR sealed his fate as a middle of the pack car for his career at 23XI. Left Chevy to go to a Toyota team that has 3 wins in two years. Nothing against Bubba but I don't think he wins if they don't call it for rain. Kansas has been a good track for 23XI. I really wanted to see Kurt Busch go out on his own terms and I kind of hoped it was gonna be with Ganassi and when he sold I was still set on him staying at Trackhouse to keep the famed number 1 in victory lane. It could be the fact I really liked the Kurt Busch and Matt McCall pairing honestly.

Yes, but Reddick is better than Bubba and won 3 races last year at RCR. I do think RCR has something figured out, but watch out for HMS on certain tracks because the Garage 56 car. Road courses and some tracks I expect them to be be even better.

The reason why I think this is because I think Tyler Reddick’s leaving RCR at the worst time possible, remember back in the 80s when Ricky Rudd left RCR and Dale Earnhardt came to RCR and 6 championships, while Rudd never won a championship, I think it’s the same situation between Kyle Busch, and Tyler Reddick. And as for Bubba Wallace, I don’t think he’s going to be consistent enough to make it. He’s never made the playoffs before, and his emotions overwhelm him too much sometimes. Also I just think 2311 going to take a big step back losing Kurt Busch as a driver, While Legacy MC and Trackhouse, are probably going to keep stepping forward.

Hot take: Justin Haley will make the playoffs. Here’s why: Look at Trackhouse (Chevy) in their first year. Were in contention at times, finished outside top 20 in points, and overall just wasnt good. Then look at their second. Won 3 races, made the playoffs, made the champ 4, and were in contention pretty much every week. Now look at Kaulig. Were in contention at times, finished outside top 20 in points, and overall weren’t that great, but better than everyone thought. Not only that, Haley will have a veteran on his side every week now.

I think nascar might have a repeat of last year, but before the playoffs begin. One thing is for certain. If you lived in Vegas, you want that over 16 winners early. Second. You’re skipping over an odd fact. That kaulig racing may have not just snagged AJ Allmendinger late in his career, but may have given him a second prime of his career. I mean there’s a difference between just racing like he did for JTG Daugherty, and racing like the trophy and family only matters at kaulig. So I think AJ snags more than one win, and he gets a win at dega or Daytona, a road course and a normal oval.

I love this video every year. I honestly think Ryan Preece makes the playoffs on points or gets his first career Cup win at Nashville. I think 3/4 SHR drivers get in. Briscoe , Preece, and Harvick.

You could say that most years though. With Chase and Larson, I expect them to win close to ten races a year for the next decade or more maybe.

I think Reddick is going to be the dominant driver in 23XI this season

I wouldn’t say he was the dominant driver. Going into Daytona, Reddick was 12th in points and Bubba was 14th (in driver points, bubba was 16th for the chase because McDowell and Stenhouse won and they were behind him in points)
