My Wedding Story: Getting Eloped in Los Angeles

Over the years my opinion has changed on big elaborate weddings and feel like it's kind of a waste of money. I have been to a lot of weddings and also have paid for a wedding and some of the most beautiful ceremonies I've been to were small and intimate. My advice to any young couple would be take that money and put it towards a home or a wonderful honeymoon. 💕

The stress relief we felt when we found a place to live was UNMATCHED. So many people my age do not believe they will ever own a home as it’s gotten so expensive. I’m so thankful we didn’t have our elaborate ceremony (YET), but I look forward to celebrating one day!

I never practiced Islam! The part about the bills though 🥲😩😩😩😩😩 I married for love, but I always tell my husband that once I entered adulthood I understood why people married for money
