My Weekly Cleaning Routine - Simplify Your Space

Today’s video is about my weekly cleaning routine. There are some chores and house cleaning tasks which are not done every day but at specific interval say in a week or fortnight. I space them during the weekdays based on my needs. Allocating about 30 mins a day on these weekly tasks, saves me a lot of time on weekends for my family. So, let us see how I have slotted my weekly cleaning routine on specific days.

DIY Cleaner recipes;
All-purpose cleaner
2tbs baking soda
1tbs dish liquid
5-10 drops tea tree, lavender, or lemon essential oil
300 ml water
Mix all the ingredients and store the solution in a spray bottle
Glass Cleaner (To Remove soap scums)
1 lemon juice
1 tsp dish liquid
100 ml hot water
Mix all the ingredients, put the solution in a spray bottle and use it instantly
Faucet (Taps) and shower cleaner (To remove hard water stains)
Just take some white vinegar in a spray bottle or in a bowl
Either spray or rub the vinegar on affected area with the help of sponge
Leave it for 5 minutes
Clean the area with microfibre cloth
Floor Cleaner
All purpose liquid (I use LOC from AMWAY)
Tea tree oil
Baking soda (Optional)
Toilet bowl cleaner
¾ cup borax
1 cup white vinegar
10 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops lemon essential oil
Homemade Air Freshener
12 - 15 drops of pure essential oil (lemon and lavender are my favourites)
½ cup white vinegar
1/12 cups water
Combine in a spray bottle, shake, and spray to freshen the room! (Shake before each use)

It helps to have a small family size too. If more than 3 or 4 people live together, then the house gets more cluttered and dirty and it gets more time consuming and tiring to keep up with room wise cleaning all by yourself esp if cleanliness is not a priority for other members of the household such as grown up kids or elderly folk and there are multiple schedules to follow such as people arriving and leaving at different times.
