This video has some great tips! I am going to use your method for my next batch of loaves and for your starter. What do you do with the starter after you have removed the amount you need for the bread dough?

I put the starter back in the fridge closer to the end of that day, that way it gets fed, fermented nice and bubbly, and then it returns to the fridge for the next time I want to use it!

Very informative video, thank you for posting! I just started my sourdough journey and have been making mediocre round artisan loaves so far. The loaf pan looks like a far friendlier option, I will have to give it a try! Also was very excited to spot your brown scapular! It’s always a pleasant surprise to see Catholic mama content creators out there! 🙌🕊️✝️

Funny enough... I just bought that book, but I have yet to crack it open. I would love to know where you got the grain grinder. I can't find one like that on Amazon anymore!

I got that grain mill years ago but it looks like they really raised the price on it and it’s hard to find, I would actually get this one, I think it’s a better buy: www.amazon.com/NutriMill-Classic-760200-Speed-Minute/dp/B001UI37N8

@@christinesnotebook thank you! I might have found one other place to buy but you're right about the expense. Rather than buy a generic white one (yours looks like a work of art), I might just try using my blendtec blender
