I don’t think I agree with something more than you preferring earlier Wes films than the new ones they just seem so much more real and raw. Plus I hardly ever see love for Darjeeling limited and I am so glad I found it here

Right!? I was so happy to see Darjeeling at number one, you’d swear I made the movie myself. Ha. It’s the first Wes movie I saw, and it’s just so dear to me.

I think you have the most in common with me of any Wes ranking I’ve ever seen!! My 10, 9, 6, 3, and 1 are the same (though, 9 and 10 switch places now and then for me)! Darjeeling also made #2 on my Adrien Brody ranking. :)

100% agree with you on Darjeeling Limited and I really didn't until rewatching it last year. It was towards the bottom of my list and just didn't connect with me the first time. After a few years I revisited it and was in tears by the end, it's such a beautiful portrait of love, life, family and acceptance of everything good and bad that comes with that. Awesome video!!

Darjeeling is so amazing the fact that he shoots on an actual train that is moving - I love culture and I have wanted that luggage forever it is the best. The dialogue between the brothers ordering for everyone is funny as all heck.

hey, I'm catching up with your videos. First of all, I loved the video, the minimalistic style and editing is perfect, not overdone like some other KZbinrs and not missing any important details about each movie. Despite only having a few videos in your channel, judging by the quality of this video, it seems they you have edited videos for longer, so congratulations. It reminded of Karsten's style a little before you said it at the end, but I think it's not exactly the same. The voice doesn't seem so bad, if you hadn't said anything I wouldn't have noticed that you weren't using a good microphone. As a normal fan of Wes, that likes his style and movies because they're different and, most importantly, well done, I have to say that my ranking is very different from yours, but in some things we agreed, for example I didn't like very much his last movie. Also I haven't seen the top 2 movies because I watched the most popular ones first, so thanks to your video I have more reasons to check them out. Finally I look forward to watching more content form you

@@stelperry never said that lol, just watched it two nights ago. 1st half was good but it seriously fell off in the 2nd half. Got pretty boring, flashback was the best scene. Watched steve zissou before and moonrise after and both were an 8 versus the darjeeling 6.5

my bad! i also don’t dislike ones i consider “the worst” but based on your comment it seemed like that was the case. i actually think the second half is where it really thrives and builds on the original concept of the movie. maybe more serious than the first half but i think it’s really the opposite of boring.
