I bet any kind of money those toxic mothers are toxic because they didn't have a father. Then, I'd take the winnings from that bet and bet again that the women you refer to as toxic mothers have not have the opportunity to relax and feel safe enough to be able to be feminine. These women discovered the world/jungle is cold. feelings + tears makes you a vulnerable prey to a hungry pride of lioness. A toxic mother has more influence on a child's life than an absent father! Somebody once told me - “someday your kids are going to figure out who you are, just like you figured out who your parents are. Make sure you’re being the person they can be proud of when they figure it out.”sometimes it takes years before you fully understand the reality of a situation you were in, for you to look back and see it for what it truly was

Let’s not compare the two bc it’s all bad. I have a toxic mother and an absent father. The disheartening thing is having one parent around who’s toxic and wishing the other parent would come and save you but they want to remain absent. Basically as a child…you’re left out to dry. As an adult you start parenting yourself and setting boundaries and refrain from wishing and hoping to be understood. It isn’t easy. Honestly, marriage counseling at any stage of a marriage can be beautiful tool in helping ya'll communicate what you need and want from each other in a way that the other partner gets it. I felt that when he said his mother don't call him to be nuturing...he said "but I know she got it in her because I heard her do it before" he's hurt because he's thinking "she can do it for everybody else but me" these moms out here are super toxic... momma d is toxic AF

Impressive to see young men coming together to heal from past traumas in a healthy way. Great show. We all have one type of bad experience that impacts on us. But to be able to sit amoung your people and share without judgement is power and battery to the spirit and soul. Charged up in essence of peace and pursuit of happiness 😊
@jetlife2212 жыл бұрын
It’s imperative to break this generational trauma. Being attracted to chaos because it’s your comfort zone due to your upbringing. We have to be careful not to find comfort in traumas that we haven’t healed within ourselves. There’s definitely a bigger issue with mothers that have been traumatized while raising young men without boundaries that leads to a possessive nature so once they’re in a healthy relationship the mother can’t be happy for him due to another person being that source of happiness, which will ultimately cause friction. Peace

The fact that scrappy is very vulnerable i love it and he has childhood trauma just like the rest of us and having a wife who you say is the same as your mother that’s Trauma . You may love her but someday we need the different energy !

Shout out to all those people in the comments that have been chosen with the burden to break the generational curses placed on their families by the previous generation. Know that there are others out here who have to shoulder the same burden and understand the responsibility you’ve undertaken. It ain’t easy but God gives the most difficult challenges to his strongest warriors. Peace and blessings.

This is sad, because there are so many broken men just like him and they need psychological help and even medication as well. Scrappy I hate to say this, needs to be put on his own. Meaning having a place to live, without his wife and kids. But still support his kids and see them from a far. He needs to live alone and get the mental health that he needs. He needs boundaries with his mother and also see her from a far, still loving her as well. Until he realizes that he is in chains and shackles around toxic people, he can never heal. This is why so many women, like myself are alone, not lonely but alone. Because, it is hard for us to find a mentally stable man out here, who is not broken just like this man here is. I will pray for scrappy and his family to get the help they need. This is just my opinion.

I think the way Scrappy has been expressing himself, he's learning and evolving as a man. Sometimes the light comes on at different stages in life. And then, some people light doesn't come on in this life, so do over again.

Bambi is that balance for Scrappy. He knows that at the end of the day, she got his back like Mamma D has had his whole life despite any situation. In regards of Mamma D, she is who she is. Parenting doesn't come with a handbook, and in some cases, a mamma is going to protect her cub no matter what the cost is. Both of them are lLoyal to Scrappy and bump heads on the subject of who is the protector of him(his feelings). Mamma D is doing it so long that she's not gonna give ANYONE that spot ti have the opportunity to hurt Scrappy Bambi feels that since she is his wife, it's her place NOW to be the gatekeeper. Scrappy isn't telling either one they're wrong because he feel both of them are right in their own way. Too much extra stuff, yes, but nevertheless. Great interview.

This is the craziness most of us go through. I pick up in this interview that men seek mental peace too. I find it admirable Scrappy wants to break that broken home scenario that so many of us have lived. I did. My parents just couldn't get it together. So the fact that Scrappy said not only did I find a wife I found a woman to be the mother of my children and more. Mama Dee had a rough life. She only sees it how was given to her so it's been a strong influence.

Many of US can relate and certainly Empathize with Scrappy and his childhood. Many of US are not far removed from similar toxicities within our own family dynamics. Just the same, we are ALL faced with a choice of Living in a Loop of Destruction of separating ourselves from familiar poison just for familiarity's sake. Scrappy, just like the rest of US, do have a choice. A choice that many of OUR elders and ancestors did not. We can choose to live within the confounds of our own Peace. That Peace will not include everyone you Love. There will be people who you love dearly, but they are not willing to put their Egos to rest long enough to sustain Peace. They crave power and control by any means necessary. You cannot negotiate with a Narcissistic Infested Spirit. Only God can remedy their Soul upon their decision to allow God within their Hearts truly. Everyone has the Right to accept God's Love or Reject it. Just know that when someone is in a Rejection of God tug of war it is a reflection of Deep Self Hate. As God is within us, so to reject God is to reject oneself. And if someone is encased in self hate and destruction they are certainly willing to destroy you. Just because you love, empathize, and pray for these fractured people doesn't mean you have to sacrifice yourself to their all consuming Will. LET THEM GO!
