Those electronic running boards are best to have when you want to keep the elevated look of the truck without having to compromise for people who are shorter. This is something I’d do if I end up getting a Tundra as well in the far future

I have a BAK cover on my 2020 Taco. It's great, super simple to operate and keeps the rain (and snow) out and secures the bed and its contents when the tailgate is locked. I experience some water intrusion (limited in and around the tailgate only) when I run Marvin thru the car wash.

I’ll never have another truck without electric boards. Just installed 2nd set of Amp steps. Super easy to run the wiring.

Jon, it’s really looking nice. Those running boards are sweet. Very professional looking. Yes, it would be nice if they allowed you to set a delay on the retraction. I have the OEM boards on my 3rd gen 1794. They’re great but still would be nice if Toyota allowed you to adjust the retraction delay.

I have the same tonneau cover on my 2020 Taco TRD PRO. It’s about as good as it gets in my opinion. Wether I need to carry trash to the dumpster, or, carry my bikes, it’s easy to roll up and back.

Watched the install videos and thought should be plug and play and easy. Run power and ground, run sensor to the door switch. But no, much much more complicated. Ended up getting go rhino dominators, pretty easy to install. my Last tundra had the first generation of the Bak revolver, loved it. This tundra will have one, eventually

@stevieray1828 no i don't miss my 23 at all. I have no regrets and always getting compliments. One thing I do miss a bit how wide the newer models are. Because of that it made it more roomy but you still have plenty of room in the older models. I hope one day to supercharge it.

@@pierremendoza520 I was riding in my bro's TRD pro the other day, it was comfortable over bumps and didn't have any creeks or rattles. I did notice the body roll and thought it would be really nice with the Magnuson super charger. There are pros and cons for sure either way. Enjoy your ride dude!

I’m on my second tonneau like this one. It’s coming unglued near the rubber seal that is ontop so I reached out to them and they have great customer service which is great.

I haven’t found a shop yet to do some undercoating. But I’ve washed it pretty good and cleaned up the areas myself. Just wanna get a professional to clean it up a little more

I had two tundra trucks a 2008 and a 2014 but they just suck at mpg. I use my trucks for camping and drive state to state. 10mpg is a joke 💯 so what if it will run for ever when your getting 💩 mpg. Currently driving a 24 Silverado zr2 1500 and it kicks a** . Keep that old AF truck

You should totaly do the Chevy Trail Boss mod. Its where you sell the Toyota...get a better job...save money for lile 10 years and purchase and learn to drive a real truck. But we get it...not all boys can make man choices. We know its also because you all can buy all the cheap crap to trow on the toyotas with the money you save. "One of everything from Auto Zone please" O...and you wont have to worry about horrible blue colors. We dont have to choices. We have only husban approved colors like BLACK! And you get a free man card with ever chevy!
