If this dumb husband knew that Ben was married, then why the hell did he spend the weekend doing yard work? He should have been around at Ben's house telling Ben's wife all about the affair taking place that weekend with Ben and his own wife! Sure, he had started the ball rolling with his own lawyer and that Computer person plus a specialist family law Lawyer (for the divorce). Had his wife let slip where exactly she and Ben were going to spend the long weekend? He could have been arranging a PI to get video evidence of what was happening. Still, the story "tidied up" very nicely with many of the issues getting addressed. Cheers.
