Back in the day I did similar stuff using gear by Rockford Fosgate 5kw tri amped 15's with 4in coils , ribbon mids, neo bullets, custom active/passive Xvrs, also an Alpine head lol !!! As a result I'm partially deaf because of it, don't make the same mistakes I did. Btw, my brother inlaw stole the car from me to buy coke and I lost it all. Don't skip on security, do everything you can from Airtags to LoJack with an independent power source ,even a cellular modem with an on board cloud connected server to ping location data in real-time! Don't be me.

Hey man I’m hoping you can help me understand what’s wrong with my theory? Basically I want to run two 400 amp alternators in my 06 trailblazer and power 6 batteries in parallel. Then I believe I would need a power inverter?? So I can run an electric vehicle motor that’s connected to my rear axle. Can you help me understand if alternator could be used in this way? Thanks man

You could, but there is more efficient ways to do this. If I am understanding correctly, you are trying to create a gas electric car which is similar to how diesel locomotives work. The way locomotives doit is they have a a big generator hooked to the back of the engine as opposed to being accessory belt driven. Another thing to consider is using lithium batteries instead of lead acid. I’d highly recommend checking out Edison Motors on KZbin. Chase and his team have built a diesel electric semi tractor and are working on conversion kits for pickups. He has some videos going in-depth on how it all works.
