I'm sure she thought it was funny when she was the one going out with her makeup on and her high heels, even asking her husband if he was jealous, as he asked where she was going. Then, after he finally moves on, suddenly she wants to fix things; how convenient. It sounds like Derek pumped and dumped on her a little too soon. The only reason that women ever want to "fix things" is so that they can get their men back into the habit of pining for their love, while they plot for the next opportunity to stab the men in the back and come out on top as the winners in something, which to them, is just a game. it happened to me.

now let me get this straight, was she not the one who initiated the divorce, where in this distorted reality get the idea that he was cheating on her which she was the one going out for drinks at all hours of the night, then at that very moment he moves on to someone who appreciates him, he's cheating?!!!!! what's to be upset about, why are you jealous, better she was the one who wanted this, there's no reason for her to angry about something you created, she made the mess that she her can't clean up.
