They had me standing and didn’t tell me not to look....I accidentally caught more than I wanted 😱 That doesn’t sound like it was handled well at all by anyone in there. So frustrating! Traumatic to be removed for sure! We had issues being a same sex married couple with one nurse in the NICU. I filed a complaint with the hospital.

We should have filed a complaint! I didn’t even think about it until after we were at home with him.

@@TiffanyFord_13 our situation got pretty ugly. Luckily, we’d already been in the NICU long enough for some other staff to step in and defend me. The NICU director encouraged me to file a complaint if I felt mistreated.

These stories make me so angry. It’s so unfair. It’s not humane. I just wish people could see the true value in love, and they wouldn’t be so terrible 😡
