When I watch the scene where Daryl gives Carol the flower and tells her the story about the Cherokee Rose I always tear up He is a great character I love how he is written He seems so tough but is really a sweet guy He was already a survivor before all this happened and he’s just trying to find his place within the group He’s always been with his brother who was the leader making bad choices for them both.

As a leader, it's Rick's responsibility to keep his group safe. I would absolutely ask to stay at the farm. It's better for Hershel and his group too.

Loving the comments! Really appreciate the perspective. Overall I agree with you. Asking to stay is the right move. But if the answer is no, then they should either leave, or forcefully take the place. It's the in-between that's frustrating. It just feels like entitlement.

I dont think its bad to ask to stay on the farm. Its not safe outside those fences, they havent adapted to killing walkers really good yet. In an apocalypse u should help each other above and beyond normal times. Safety in numbers.

Rick doesn’t know Shane murdered Otis in cold blood. He thinks Otis died saving his boy. Makes sense he would use Otis to try to make his case for his group to stay. Also, it’s not disrespectful to make his case of why Hershel should think about letting them stay. He’s just saying give it some thought and explaining how bad things are out in the world.

I really do hope you guys stick the show till season 5, maybe 6, but 3-5 in my honest opinion is PEAK Twd. Some people say the show falls off in the later seasons, but I think with the continued watch and being able to see the seasons/episodes back to back will help a ton with the pacing! I personally think the show stays strong until maybe the last season, and even then, some people love it still.

Stays strong til the last season? This became one of the most unwatchable shows on television for a few seasons. Viewers ran from the show, ratings went in the toilet. Even when it supposedly got a little better it still wasn’t good. Just better in comparison to the crap we had just watched.

Iunno. Agree to disagree. It's not COMPLETELY dead. And the ones that are living would be looters to survive -- and I would take absolutely everything I could carry haha. At the very least, people might have it up smaller places like this before things completely came crashing down. Complete hypothetical though haha, so who knows.
