Yeah I’m class of 2020 and it sucks that we didn’t finish the school year with our friends. I didn’t even get to say goodbye to 90% of my friends. But I feel like we got more stuff and recognition than we would have if our year didn’t end like this. So there are definitely down parts but there’s always things to be grateful for 😊

I was a senior too and I totally get where you are coming from with not getting closure. It has honestly been really hard for me because I lost so many things that I love and I would do anything to get them back and get to do all the things seniors get to do in the spring. I hope everything went well for you because I truly know how hard this has been, and I hope both of us as well as all the seniors out there can get the closure to high school and everything we missed, which we deserve.

Kamri, congratulations!! I actually love how your school and community handled graduation this year. I feel so bad for all the Seniors who missed out on their final year because of the pandemic. I do think yours did end on a high, even though it was different. I saw it as a special and unique sendoff! I'm a mom to a college son, and a now Senior, class of 2021, and I am hoping his last year goes off semi normally, but even if not, I hope he gets a nice send off like your class did.
