WOW!! This just popped into my Notification feed on KZbin not sure how and as I sit here and watch all Alex hikes and adventures, I am very impressed. I normally don't watch this type of content. I am a black American woman who lives in Florida in the warmth because I am so use to the tropics and will not consider any place else but Tennessee mountains to see the snow and enjoy the cold. LOL But this was so mesmerizing, and I love every minute of it, I had to go back to the old videos. Thanks for sharing Alex this made my day, and one thing I can say is Alex is going to eat good no matter his circumstance's. and his location during his hikes, take care and stay safe Alex.

I love watching your adventures, and your obvious building skills. But I have noticed that the first thing you do when you arrive at camp is to find and cut up wood for heat and cooking, and fill your water supply. I would suggest that you replenish both those items at the campsite BEFORE you leave for home. Put in enough firewood and water to see you thru 24 hours. Put a bleach tablet in the water container to keep it it drinkable. What if you head to camp and a sudden storm comes up so that when you get there, there is no firewood or water and you have to wait until the storm is passed before you can go search for them? That might be a short time or several days, depending on the storm. If there is no storm, so much the better. But I would suggest that it would be a more pleasant experience for you if you arrive at a fully stocked campsite. Replenish the firewood and water before you go home. That is my suggestion. I live in Malaysia and love watching these winter dugout videos, as an architect I would say u have the most comfortable and best laid out dugout ever ! A table fan to dry out the moisture and melting snow leakage will help keep the air more healthy I think...great job!

Three fine shelters in one video! I LIKE the idea of the sauna/shelter: you can heat the rocks and the heat will carry over after the fire goes out at night. You can heat a lot of water as well.
