I was a nanny for about 8 years and travelled internationally with the family frequently - as much as it's fun to explore new places and be somewhere tropical, it is still work! Lots to plan when you leave home for weeks at a time (i.e. animal/house care). We always got a house so it wasn't like being stuck in a hotel room for hours on end while the kids slept, so that was good.

Jersey girl here! "Mischief Night" is the night before Halloween, when people go around and, sorta basically vandalize property lololol like egging peoples houses, throwing toilet paper in trees. Depending on where you're from the name changes. I've heard mischief, cabbage, devil's, goosey night...loads of options. It's just a fun night for pranks though sometimes people go too far

We got on the Magic in Miami the day you all disembarked from the Fantasy. We actually docked next to the Fantasy in Nassau which was cool! My husband and I also loved the trivia, even though we didn’t win we came close a couple times. Your trivia session reminds me a lot of my husband and I, we would be either so confident or we would second guess ourselves and end up wrong 😂. Was super fun either way! This was our first time to lighthouse point and both the husband and I and our two teens all agreed that we love Lighthouse point more than castaway. The beaches are just amazing, and the island is beautiful and you don’t feel like you’re on top of everyone. Can’t wait to go back!
